Great first fivefingers!
It may take a few days till you feel absolutely comfortable in these shoes, however i didnt get any pain even at the very first days, they are very light but also solid. I ordered size UK 10/10,5 as usually and they fit just perfectly Only thing i wouldnt recommend is running during the first days, you should wait till they “copy your feet” as recommended by Vibram.

Awesome
I wasn’t sure if I would like these and decided to take a risk, I absolutely love them. I am Uk Size 11 and based on previous reviews I decided to order 10/10.5 and these fit perfect (after wearing them in) do take into consideration your feet, ankle and legs are going to take some adjustments so take it slow

Well made& a good fit for me
My initial impression is very good. I'm a UK 10.5 to 11 and I ordered size 10 to 10.5 (EU 45). The shoes were just right. No soreness walking round my house all day. I'm new to barefoot running, so I'll update this review after I've built up into this style of running. However, shoes seem really well made.

More rigid toe separation than expected fit ok to snug
Toe separation is more rigid compared with other 5 finger vibrant I own. Especially between big toe and second toe quite harsh due to extra seam leading from top of foot to big toe second toe split. Hopefully settled down over few wears

I burned more calories trying to put them on
I spent nearly 20 minutes trying to put them in and I was knackered. The toes don’t line up with the toe pockets making it extremely difficult to fit them on.

Pricey but the most fun shoes I’ve run in.
tl/dr - the vibrams for rough terrain. If you want this type of shoe and run trails these are the ones. Got my first vibrams years ago and loved them ever since. My first were trail types (Spyridon). I ran hundreds of miles in them before the heel thinned. Got some KSOs the second time for the thinner soul which were great sensation wise but not for trail running. They haven’t lasted 6 months and ripped between the big toe before the soul came away from the fabric part along the side. These are an updated version of the Spyridon in my experience. They are a much more solid build and the soul has a chunky grip so I feel much more confident running across mud/wet wood planks) than I did with KSOs. Size wise I’ve worn both UK 9s (Vibram 43) and UK 9.5/10 (V44). While technically the 43s were a better fit they eventually pulled at the seams. I go one size larger as it gives more room for my foot to flex as I run.

Very good product. Fits as expected, very good quality material and design wise. I had issues with sore knees and weak ankle while running. I had Brookes running shoes and they were giving me so much support that I wasn't using my ankles. While running with these shoes they have strengthened my calf's, ankles and removed pain in my knees and hips. Great shoes worth the money

So I have been wearing Five-Finger shoes for a while. I have about 8 pairs of Injinji toe socks, and I find running in them with normal running shoes comfortable. I transitioned to toe socks about 10 years ago for Spartan and other obstacle races, where running in wet and muddy shoes were a thing - and they definitely helped a lot. Now back to current day, I recently read a few books on barefoot shoes, and I have been intrigued. I usually walk barefoot anyways, and use sandals for almost everything else. Even while at work, as part of a surgery team, I wear Croks all day…which are nothing but plastic sandals. So I am naturally comfortable barefoot and in sandals. I finally took the plunge into these Vibram Five-Finger V-Trail 2.0 shoes. The first thing I did was use their sizing chart, and measured my foot. I was at exactly 9,75” inches. So the first pair I ordered was the shoe for a 9.5” shoe. (See my attached chart). Mistake. It fit, but too snug. Drats! So thanks to me only ordering items via Amazon Prime (with free returns), I returned them and went for the foot size of 10” inches. Perfect fit. So my suggestion to you would be to read the “heel to toe” inch sizes in their sizing charts as meaning, “No larger than” the number they use in inches. I am not intending on using these shoes barefoot. I will only ever use them with toe socks, so imagine adding an extra 1/4” on the length. (1/8” on the front, and 1/8” on the rear). I use Injinji and VWell toe socks, so I was not too worried about some reviewers that said when they used these shoes barefoot they could feel the nubs on the aggressive soles. Anyways, a smidgen snug at first, but after a few hours they fit perfectly. I knew they’d be snug initially. But everyone states there is a small break-in period with these Vibram V Trail 2.0 shoes, and they were correct. Bottom line, they are pretty sweet. When I first tried on Five Finger shoes, I remember driving my truck. I guess you never really think about what part of your foot you use when depressing the gas pedal. It took me a few minutes to decide which part of my foot/toes I was going to use to drive my truck when depressing the gas and brake pedal. Ha ha. I might even purchase a set of the regular Vibram V Trail. The ones with the higher sidewalls covering the ankles. Anyhoo…great shoes. Recommended.
