A Great Faucet
I'm always interested in "green" products that work well and are affordable. This faucet meets both criteria. I received a free low-flow showerhead at a farmers market a few months ago and it worked okay, but it lacked the power of my old showerhead. Because of this I decided to research low-flow showerheads on Amazon and this Delta faucet had the best reviews and a great price so I purchased 3 - one for each of the shower/tubs in our home. PROS - They were easy to install. Just wrapped the threads with a bit of teflon tape and hand-tightened the showerhead. No leaks or any other problems. - Not noisy. Some of the other posters mentioned that the showerhead was uncomfortably loud. We have high water pressure in our home and I haven't noticed any extra loudness from this showerhead and no one has complained. They sound like a shower - nothing more, nothing less. - Plenty of water pressure. Taking a nice invigorating shower is one of my few vices and I like a nice powerful stream of water and the Delta didn't disappoint. It has plenty of power on the 2.6 gallon setting, but I didn't like the lower setting. My wife, on the other hand, thought the 2.6 gallon setting was a bit "needly" and she prefers the lower setting or to lower the water volume using the shower controls. - Plenty of coverage. Some people have said it has too much coverage and sprays all over the place and I might agree but it's just fine in our glass-enclosed shower. It rinses soap just fine and doesn't cool off too much before it hits you. CONS - None that I've found yet. I could have multiple massage options or something like that, but it's very good as-is. Highly recommended.

Added life to my apartment shower
I live in an apartment and thus have no control over the water pressure. Every couple of years they have reduced the pressure more and more with water saving measures. Yes, they replaced the shower heads but they did little and this time I would stand there and the water would trickle out at such a minimal stream that I could not rinse off fully or adequately wash my hair. So I did my research and discovered not only thru reviews here but also on other sites with articles on how to improve shower water pressure that this shower head came highly recommended. The Delta 75152 Amplifying shower head was mentioned over and over. Any improvement would have been appreciated but this shower head is a true life saver for me. Even the weaker of the two streams is a big improvement over my shower head but the stronger one is amazing! This Delta 75152 manages to take the low pressure and push it out in a way that truly does feel like more water and pressure. And the pleasure is immense - the spray is strong and steady and truly feels like I'm getting a massage. With my old shower head showers were taking way too long due to the low water pressure. Now I can take showers real quick again or keep them long because I don't want to leave the shower! I am so happy, thrilled, impressed and grateful for how well this Delta shower head performs. It more than does what it says it will. And the installation was so easy. I used pliers to remove the old shower head. I did purchase plumbers tape so I cleaned the end of the pipe, wrapped 3 layers of tape around and merely screwed the Delta shower head on by hand. It fit securely, no leaks at all and worked flawlessly right away. Also the water flows out with equal measure hot and cold. It never goes more to one or the other on its own. The water system in my building also fluctuates and slows down to almost nothing and then comes back on. This happens about every 7 minutes and even when that occurs the water temperature I had set with the Delta never changes. I am not using this to save on water so I cannot comment on that. But if like me you have been suffering and feeling truly miserable due to extremely low water pressure in your shower the Delta 75152 will amaze you. And believe me, the pressure I was dealing with wasn't mildly bad. It was terrible and the Delta truly has me feeling like I am in a full flow shower. Highly recommend.

Price, feel, and tons of water!
I bought this showerhead because I needed something that didn't feel like accupuncture on my face while showering. In a college dorm where they like to skimp on the most basic of comforts like a mattress, lack of air conditioning, and miniature fridges- I was able to at least address an important issue. The showerhead. I truly believe there are three things any single male/college guy should invest in; one being a quality mattress, two being a safe environment to call home, and lastly a good shower head! The one provided by college housing (and many cheap land lords in surrounding areas) love using this Ez-Flo 15001 Economy Shower Head . At 95 cents, they provide you with a shower that shoots water needles all over your body. Listen, I've gotten cut, trampled, bucked, and kicked at by the animals I work with on campus. I'm not afraid of hard work, mud, blood and being uncomfortable. But when I think of how painful it was everytime to come home and wash away a day's hard work It dawned on me that this place, this moment in my shower, should be enjoyable! Not a repeat of the day's toils! So I looked for something that was soothing, had great flow and didn't cost me fifty bucks! There are plenty good showerheads out there. I don't know much about showerheads. Showerheads aren't my deal; animals are. But what attracted me to this showerhead aside from the reasonable price was the 2.5 gallons per minute flow. The economy showerheads also put out very little water, leaving me to take longer showers to get the suds off completely. This shower has so much flow and seems over 2.5 gpm. The water saving tab however definitely feels like 1.8 gpm. No doubt about that. But being in a place where I do not have to pay for water, I say this is a win win since there is an increased flow now! But with the water saving switch, I felt my hot water last longer. I thought that was a sales gimmick they did, but maybe it does have something to do with the setting. In any case, this head installed without the need of pliers, or that special tape you wrap around the pipe before fastening the head on. The water that comes out of the head is a spray. Sometimes it feels a bit prickly, but it is soo much nicer than my needle-spewing previous showerhead. This delta faucet has a wider spray area (just greater radius in general) and it has become a reward for me now everytime I step into the shower! I am so grateful. *shower head has only one type of spray. No "massage", "interval" or other type of spray. Just a continuous powerful misty spray with a water control switch. Grab ur soap and suds up!

As advertised; saves water, maintains pressure. The sensation is a little strange...
Like so many others I bought this because I was unhappy with the water pressure in my shower. Well, if you watched my video you know things didn't go quite as planned once I turned off the old shower head. Still that was not at all a reflection of the new shower head! Let's go over a couple specific categories: 1. Installation was a breeze! There are no tools required, though you should have some plumbers tape on hand. You may also need a wrench to get your old shower head off, but I only need to hand-tighten the new one. 2. Water pressure is fantastic. There is a toggle to turn the pressure up and down; there are only two settings but I actually prefer the lower one. So if you really like high water pressure, I think this will meet your needs. 3. The price is a little on the low side. Shower heads are not generally very expensive, and you can get some extra features by spending just a few more dollars. Still, the low price and and the low-flow/high-pressure niche makes this a good value. Okay so why is this not a 5-star product? You may find it to be for sure. My only hesitation on this is I find the sensation of the water against my skin to be a little unsettling. In my video review I describe it similar to the florescent light effect, which I think is a good analogy. It's like the water subtly pulsates rather than being a constant stream. I'm fine with it now, but it took some getting used to. You really may not notice it at all...or it may drive you crazy, so it's worth mentioning. My only other criticism is that there are no bells and whistles here. There's no twisting the shower head to toggle between wide, narrow, rain, pounding, etc, there's just high pressure and medium pressure. But it does what it does very well, making it a product I can definitely recommend. Check out my video for more information, including an installation walk through and a live demonstration!

This Showerhead Does the Job & Does It Well
Once again I am surprised that there are reviews under 4 stars. If you look at my review history, I always try to give a fair and balanced review and I don't give out 5 stars easily. I recently moved and the water pressure here is horrible. I almost hated getting in the shower because I felt cold and uncomfortable the entire time and it felt like it took forever to get the soap and shampoo off of me. Well let me tell you.. I've had this little baby for over a week now and I am back to enjoying taking a shower. I know this thing can't increase the amount of water coming through the spigot but it sure feels like it does. I am a pretty big guy and this shower head covers me completely with water and it has an awesome flow. It doesn't sting at all but it almost feels like I am in a commercial gym shower. I Love It!! The product itself feels well made, very sturdy. I love the bigger head, it's easy to reach up to re-position and the movement is smooth. I don't really notice much of a difference when changing the little switch to the two pressure settings but I am thinking that's because my water pressure is so low it doesn't make a difference. As far as the people posting bad ratings, I'm not sure what to say. I don't know if they're getting a defective product or if they're purposefully trying to lower the rating of this product. Mine came in an almost square box with the Delta name right on the top, the box is mostly see through and the shower head is inside of a plastic clam shell wrapping (top and bottom seal together with the shower head inside. It says Water Amplifying Shower Head and has a Lifetime Warranty. Mine was Sold and Shipped by Amazon. If your's does't sound like this then maybe you got a knock off. Otherwise, I can't see how mine would work so much better then ones these other folks received. Just wanted to make two additional comments after reading some of the bad reviews: #1 - It's made of plastic - The part that attaches to your shower stem and the ball inside are definitely not plastic, they are metal. I think the Bell part of the shower is plastic but it in no way feels cheaply made. #2 - It's Small - This is one of the largest shower head I have ever owned. I can't see how anyone would call this small. I would guess it sticks out about 4 1/2 inches and the bell part is about 4 inches wide. I will continue to update my review over time. I see some people say the water pressure slowed after a week or two. The design of this says the spray holes should never clog. I will let you know if this ever happens to mine. **** UPDATE **** It's been over a month since I started using this shower head so I wanted to give an update. I am still very much in love with this little gem. I so enjoy taking showers again. Everything I stated above still applies. I have no problems with the shower head and it still continues to amaze me as to how well it has increase the feel of water pressure. If you're looking for a no nonsense shower head that will work with low water pressure and help you to enjoy taking a shower, this is the one. I know there are some people writing negative reviews and I just can't understand how that is possible. This shower head is awesome and does what it says. It takes a low water pressure shower and makes it feel perfect, good pressure and good coverage. Get it.

For Better or For Worse
Call me a showerhead aficionado. I've certainly been through enough of them! Before writing this review, I asked my teenage daughter what she thought of the new showerhead and she asked "which one?" When looking for a new showerhead, I am always looking for a few key features. 1. WATER SAVING. Three daughters, a wife and an occasional dog thrown in for good measure means that on any given day, we're draining the water tank. Multiple times. Saving water is good. Not just for the environment, but for the wallet. 2. WATER AMPLIFYING. If there is any way to enjoy a decadent, daily indulgence of water usage and save money in the process, I'm all over it. Amplifying water and using less in the process seems like a great idea, right? Ever pinch a garden hose? H2OKINETIC just sounds so much better. 3. NO CLOG. Who knew the Pacific Northwest had such hard water? Sure, it rains every day or so it seems. Many wonder why we even bother installing showers in our homes. Just go outside, right? But it's a known fact that we have hard water around here. As hard as the forefathers who settled this great land. On top of that, my home has galvanized pipes. We get an occasional chunk of rust that seems to wreak havoc on faucets and showerheads. A no clog showerhead is appealing. 4. WARRANTY. Dealing with a company that stands behind it's product. A no hassle warranty policy. All the faucets in my home are Delta products. I've had occasional issues (mineral deposits, hard water) and every single time, Delta has been wonderful to deal with on warranty issues. No arguing, no fighting, no fuss. They simply stand behind their product. When I saw this was a Delta showerhead, I was all over it. That's the criteria. How did we do, you ask? Well, let me tell you now that I've had this a few months and can share my personal experience. The showerhead is a little bigger than I was expecting. Might be the huge flange. Not sure what the purpose of this flange is (design aesthetics, grip for moving the head around, splash guard). But it's kind of strange in the land of showerheads. So far, it has not clogged from the mineral deposits, but the flange does have mineral deposits or streaking. The kind that won't come up with a simple Windex and paper towel treatment. The black nozzle area is also showing mineral deposit residue. The flange is a chrome covered plastic and not metal, so I don't want to take steel wool to it. Yes, this works really well on metal. The nozzles are interesting too. It does have some great pressure and it's hard to describe, but the water droplets do feel "bigger". Not the needle pressure water that you get from so many other water amplifying showerheads. I wish the spray pattern was a bit larger though. It feels like it's concentrated, but I can't complain. It does a nice job of rinsing shampoo and conditioner out of your hair. And while there are some mineral deposits from our hard water, so far it hasn't clogged. Just as they promised. There are two settings. The up position on the lever reduces the volume of water. It's great when you're soaping up or shaving your legs (so I'm told) and don't need so much water. The down position is the full monty. Does it save water? That's hard to say. I don't have a fancy measuring device and can only judge by how long a shower I can take with hot water after the rest of my family has taken their showers. I do know that my 15-year old can drain a hot water tank in one shower. They have yet to invent a showerhead that can save THAT much water! It was super easy to install. Yes, you need a couple of inches of plumber's tape, but if you can screw in a lightbulb, you can install this showerhead. They recommend you don't use pliers and I didn't. Hand tightened and it doesn't leak. I've been through a lot of showerheads the past 10 years and this one's my current favorite. I think it could be improved on and I'm sure Delta will continue to innovate. I hope they do. This is a great step in the right direction. Eventually, I'd like to see a version that has more of a water amplified mist feature. But this is as good as it gets in this price range. Hard to come up with any reasons not to like it. That's my two cents and now I'm broke!

Very unique flow and feel; you have to try it to see if it is for you.
We've been looking to replace a shower head we've had for years, which finally broke. We like a full, higher pressure water head. Full = no holes in the middle of the stream, and higher pressure = we're not a fan of the "soft" rain-like flow that some shower heads provide. This head is very simple: put it on, turn on the shower, flip the pressure setting to high or low. There was a small but discernible difference in the settings; we kept it on high. We have decent water pressure, not bad, not great. The stream from the head is "different" - the four holes provide 4 streams that are combined into what feels like one large, broader stream when it hits you. There is also a slight pulsing feeling - not like a massage, just a slight awareness of the pulse. Out of the box, the stream was OK in terms of water pressure of the flow. After removing the O-Ring (easy) the water pressure was nice and strong. For us, it was a good shower head in terms of a lot of water, full stream, good pressure. But it is "different" from conventional shower heads. It is not the standard multiple streams hitting you the way, say, a Speakman head is. It has a very distinct and unique feeling. I am sure some people will love this head; others, like us, prefer a more conventional stream/feel (we ended up buying this and the Speakman S-2252 2.5 gpm head, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XA284E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and keeping the Speakman.) My advice is to keep the packing materials and just try it out; you'll likely love it or just feel like it is too "different" for your tastes. I think it delivers what it promises, a full higher pressure flow, with a unique feel/pattern; you'll just have to decide if it is for you.

Absolutely fantastic at an amazing price!
I purchased this showerhead to replace the old, corroded one that was in my home when I moved into it. I was looking to save money and go green, so I came online and searched for a new showerhead. It had to meet the following criteria: 1) Water saving (I like knowing I'm helping the earth) 2) Decent water pressure 3) Affordable price 4) Great consumer reviews As always, Amazon was my first stop when researching. I read all the reviews and, at $25, decided to take a chance with this Delta showerhead. The brand name is dependable and known for quality products. They did not dissapoint. The showerhead was incredibly easy to install (it took me, a woman, about 1 minute by myself), and the water pressure just blew me away! Even on the lower GPM setting, it was far and away superior to the one I had (though that wouldn't take much). It rinsed my hair in no time flat and I got out of the shower feeling cleaner. My hair is softer & smoother than it usually is. Although it doesn't say so, it almost seems as if this showerhead has an internal water filter. Plus, it makes you feel like you're in a wonderfully soothing, relaxing rain shower, with plenty of hot water to spare. I highly, highly recommend this product. Amazing performance at a great price. Thank you once again, Amazon.

The best shower head under $40 you will likely find.
At first I was a little skeptical due to a few of the negative reviews that claimed that this shower head didn't increase the perceived water pressure. Well in my case.. Boy were they wrong! This is leagues better than the normal water saving shower heads you find with their "multi-mode" functionality. This shower head doesn't have the same features as those do, but it is a full, rich shower, with plenty pressure and the best part of this is that it barely stings at all. On the 2.5GPM setting you can feel some slight sting, but it feels full, and it doesn't bother me at all. On the 1.8GPM setting you don't feel any sting, though the shower is slightly less pressurized. Both the 2.5GPM and 1.8GPM settings feel great, mainly because the water beads join together in mid air and it feels like you're being hit with a lot more water than is actually coming out of the nozzle. The spray pattern is optimal(though not really adjustable), and the head can swivel. The build quality is excellent, with a chrome plated durable plastic shell. I did not notice much of a difference in the perceived heat of the shower head though.. in fact it seemed slightly colder than my previous shower head at the same setting(though your experience may vary). However this is a non-issue for me. Only improvement would be some kind of hand held extension. I definitely recommend trying this at least once, because although I don't have much to compare it to. It feels like it would beat out most more expensive shower heads.

Me & my family love our new showerhead!
This showerhead is awesome. I'll admit that I didn't have high expectations, seeing as how affordably priced this is. But don't let the inexpensive price fool you because, not only is the shower head attractive, but it really is powerful! It only has two settings -- low and high -- and we find the low to provide more than enough water pressure. The Water-Amplifying technology really does work well! It was super-easy to install, too -- just unscrew the old showerhead, add some Teflon tape, and screw on the new showerhead. If you're looking for a great, simple showerhead, then look no further. I hope you'll be as happy with this as we are.
