Bob Bly cuts through all the useless information and writes another book that should be any writers reference companion!
Bob Bly is a prolific writer, he has close to 90+ books out in Kindle, paperback, and other forms and honestly I believe they are all worth a read. A few of his works, despite the prolific output of consistently excellent works, stand out as reference books and I would consider this book as well as The Copywriters Handbook https://www.amazon.com/Copywriters-Handbook-Step-Step-Writing-ebook/dp/B003JH8MHO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532963296&sr=8-1&keywords=bob+bly to be two reference works that should be on any serious writers shelf or Kindle. What makes these books so special is that Mr. Bly has a gift for clarity and getting to the heart of the matter that is rare in today's incessant information overload environment; in which you can read 5 books on information marketing and feel more lost that when you started. This book lays out what the possibilities are, examines how to best use available resources to explore them, and what the avenues to success and better performance are succinctly and efficiently. While efficiently is a word that sounds sounds dry and uninspiring, it's the very efficiency of the book that makes it do valuable. There's no time lost on uselesss analogies or metaphors and every paragraph feels like it should be highlighted and referred back to for further study. It's an admirable economy of information and motion. On a further note, I'd recommend following up by subscribing to Mr Bly's mailing list. While he is a self-styled "cranky curmudedgeon" he is in rality very generous in offering his opinions and time in responding to personal e-mails (though they will be direct and to the point). If there is anything "cranky" about him it's his insistence in dedicating his time to is craft and respnding efficently to people who are looking for help and getting them that help in an efficient fashion. I would HIGHLY recommend makuing this book a reference book and furthermore, I would recommend adding yourself to his subscribers list, as he manages to dole out pearls of wisdom in a way that few other can or are willing to. I can't speak highly enough about this book and please do yourself a favor and pick this book up.

The BEST Business Marketing Book I've Read!
Mr. Bly has included B2B and B2C marketing information in his comprehensive book! He doesn't use jargon and explains everything in detail, so it's easy to understand. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to market their business online and compete successfully in today's challenging marketplace.

Internet Marketing TODAY, not yesteryear.
I'm a big fan of Bob Bly; I've been following him since the '70s. What people need is long-term success in a business consultant. This book like so many of his books was excellent. It is perfect for the beginner--someone just starting a home-based business (it was not meant for professionals/marketing experts). I have already started reading it a second time with notebook in hand--planning my strategy as I go. I purchased it because of the copyright date (2018); the Internet has changed so much that books written from 2010-2014 are enjoyable reading but outdated. I needed an idea of how people are making money on the Internet today and this book provided me with a good glance.

Some reviewers said it's better for info business (ebooks)
Bob has put together a gem of a book that gives you a modern view of your toolkit and when and how to use it. Some reviewers said it's better for info business (ebooks), but I disagree. These are the rules of the road for all digital marketing, even at the corporate level. There's something for everyone in here and the content is distilled in an easy to understand manner. I felt the amount of information for each topic was the perfect length to give you the key things you need to know in order to avoid pitfalls and save lots of money in the process. I highly recommend that this book be on your shelf if you do any kind of digital marketing!

ridiculously useful
i'm a CMO recruiter and i'm on the phone with world-class digital marketers 5 hours p/day (yes, really). i read a lot of marketing books and i refer to the best ones constantly. 95% of the practical utility of my extensive business book library comes from just 5% of the books. based on the number of post-it notes and post-it tabs i've applied to this book, i can already tell that it's going to be in the top 5%.PS - i ... REALLY ... wish this book was kindle matchbook eligible!!

Boring. Simple. Fluff.
I could have googled what 100 digital marketing 'things' are if I wanted just a definition of each. I was very disappointed. Its fluff. Lacks a cohesive effort (at all) to tie all the pieces together.

Three Stars
Reads more like a textbook. Not as good as the 1 Page Marketing Plan.

A proven winner reveals what works
I found this an excellent book written by someone who actually HAS BEEN very successful with digital marketing for his own business since the beginning so he really knows what works. There are lots of great creative marketing ideas that are proven to make big money. It has dozens of resources and recommendations. It is loaded with examples, tips, tricks and techniques. I recommend it no matter what your product or service is.
