Always wanted to try one of these
1st attempt to use it was not the success I hoped for, but it wasn't that bad. Maybe if I cooked it longer. Cleaning was another disappointment. Had to wash it twice because I didn't get all the egg out of it and couldn't tell till it had dried.

Works well, once you get used to it.
I've had this for a couple weeks and have gotten the hang of it. I had tried one of the stiff microwave omelet makers and made total messes. (I'm pretty clumsy.)This one is rubbery. It felt weird at first, like nuking a leather purse. Also, if you hold it by one end, there's the possibility of it flowing out the other. So now I put the thing on a plate to prevent that.I tended to over-fill it because I use eggs from a milk carton (I'm very inept at cracking open eggs) so that took some learning. But a great thing is that you can use grease or oil (I use Pam) to make sure the cooked eggs come out of it easily. That had been a problem with the stiff omelet maker I mentioned above -- that one doesn't permit oil, so cooked eggs didn't reliably come free of the device. Also note that this produces omelets with the ingredients suspended in the eggs, like raisons in raison bread. The other one made omelets with ingredients in the middle, which is what I think of when I think "omelet."Regardless, I'm quite happy with this thing so far. (I note another reviewer says this wears out in a few months. If that's true, I might just keep buying new ones every few months.)

It started splitting after 1 month; completely split after 3 months - don't waste your money!
Not as good as those made out of rigid plastic-watch out for the holes in each side at the hinge. I used to have an omelet maker that was made out of more rigid plastic but I lost it during a move. I thought this one looked nice, but I’m less than thrilled with this purchase. You definitely have to experiment to get decent results. The first time I used pre-cooked peppers, onions, sausage and added Egg Beaters and cheese – it was too much even though I followed the directions for the correct amounts. The liquid dribbled out of the holes that are in both sides at the hinge, making a mess in the microwave once I started cooking it. The melted cheese stayed on top of the egg mixture and stuck to the top of the omelet maker. The next time I just used sausage and cheese with a little less Egg Beaters and flipped it over after 1 min. 20 sec., then microwaved it for another 60 seconds. It turned out better, although it was more like an egg bake instead of an omelet.UPDATE AFTER EXPERIMENTING FOR 1 WEEK - GOT A BETTER WAY THAN THE DIRECTIONS SUGGEST:Figured out how to make this taste and look more like an omelet - I poured about 1/3 c of Egg Beaters in each side, left it open flat, covered with a paper plate and microwaved for about 1 minute, 15 seconds. Then I added equal amounts of pre-cooked sausage, peppers and onions to each side, topped with cheese, covered again, and microwaved for another minute. I then closed the omelet maker to make an actual omelet, opened it up, put the paper plate on top and flipped it over on to the plate - Voila! It now looked and tasted more like an actual omelet. Handling this omelet maker is fairly precarious because silicone is very floppy and when it is full, you have to be very careful because of the leaky sides. You HAVE to put something like a plate or a paper towel underneath or it will make a mess of your microwave. To make matters worse, depending on what the ingredients you use, it is NOT easy to clean even though I used spray PAM to prevent sticking, and the silicone retains odors – yuck!UPDATE AFTER USING FOR 1 MONTH:I wash this by hand using mild dish detergent and dry with paper towels after each use. I never use any utensils that would damage it, but it's splitting already!UPDATE AFTER USING FOR SEVEN WEEKS:It's almost completely split in half.

Nice
Prepare an omelette without all the extra cleanup afterwards. Just wish it was bigger. The small size is the only reason it didn't 5 stars...no big deal.

Makes awesome 2 egg omelets!
My husband loves this. It’s oortsbke, easy to use, and easy to clean. Forewarning, it does not do as well if you add more than 2 eggs. I wish you could but it works best with two eggs, so if you think you’d prefer more, just make multiple omelets. Honestly it’s so quick and easy that it’s almost fun to use.

Leaks out the sides
Product is easy to clean and use but leaks out the side if you don’t limit the amount of liquid in it.

Three Stars
I really like it but the silicone tore at the corner after a few uses.
