This can be used alone to repair a short damage, or it can be used with a length of pipe and an Orbit push connector to repair almost any length of damaged irrigation pipe. No gluing is involved, and it can be pressure tested immediately.

you have to glue one end, and buy another fitting. So off to the store, where I could have bought this cheaper. So if you cant get all the parts why mess with this half solution?

Arrived on time works well, expands decent length to fill void left by removal of defect in old pipe. Only reason why I did not give it five stars is that there was some water leak at the fitted non-glued larger end of the coupler. The smaller end (which is glued) and the expansion sleeve, on the other hand, are perfectly water tight.

This was super fast and easy way to repair a broken pipe. I had two spots that busted in a pipe. Used the traditional compression coupling to fix the first one, took about 20 minutes to get that installed and sitting right. Used this for the other repair, took less than a minute. Make sure to get the coupling for the other side, kind of weird they don't include it as a kit and just add the cost to the price...but whatever, just buy both and you'll have a super efficient, quick, and easy way to repair a broken irrigation pipe.

After fighting with a leaking aerobic septic sprayer line I finally tried this and it worked great. The slip joint makes fitting the pipes an easy job. The seal has been water tight so far. Save yourself the frustration of cutting and gluing pipe.

Significantly reduces digging and avoids having to repair with elbows.

Well constructed schedule 40 (or better) and really made the pvc connection WAY easier than it otherwise would have been. Worth 4X the money at minimum!!!
