Whats the difference when ordering from giffgaff website?

You can order the SIM card from GiffGaff website but it won't include the ￡5 bonus. Plus, it will be shipped from UK via untracked mail so it may take 1-2 weeks before you get it.

Can the 10￡ you have to pay to activate it count as your month plan payment, or would that be an additional 10￡ (thus a total of 20￡)?

Yes, 10£ or whatever you pay upon activation counts towards your PAYG credit or monthly plan. That means there are no additional fees for activation.

I intend to be in the uk for a month & never changed sim cards before. is this compatible with iphones 11&12 from verizon?

Hello, you have to make sure your iPhone is not locked to Verizon. You can check if your phone is locked following one of these guides: https://www.macworld.com/article/671715/how-to-check-if-an-iphone-is-locked-or-unlocked.html

If i use it in london in march and want to use it again in november in munich, how do i keep it active while in us? thanks!

You can send a single SMS anywhere in the world in a period of 6 months to keep the SIM active.
