There is nothing to dislike about Wrights Coal Tar Soap. Our whole family uses it for bathing as well washing our hands. It does its job effectively and gently, and its clean scent is exhilarating.

A great everyday soap. The old fashion coal tar scent is refreshing and long lasting. Overall a great product.

Love this soap, antibacterial, LOVE the great smell, freshens and fragrances the whoel bathroom. I've used this soap since I was a child (or at least the same named soap, who knows what this soap contains anymore, although the smell is very similar), and had a hard time finding it when I came to the USA - so grateful someone on Amazon is selling it!

Strong smell...like a hospital cleaning closet....but only stronger. But, I think it smells more in the bathroom than it does on my body. I would not mind if it actually made a difference with my skin but it does not seem to have any impact on psoriasis at all. I believe they made a scent of coal tar but did not actually include any real coal tar. So, I'm out.

My husband is from the UK and has used this soap for years -- love lather, scent and clean feeling of the soap.

Being Irish I was brought up using this soap and would recommend it to anyone who requires a distinct fresh aroma on their skin. Superbly packed and I order on a regular basis as I am based in the Dominican Republic these days and this soap is just amazing to use in such a warm climate.

I use this daily in the shower and it leaves a nice strong masculine scent. It is a scent that is different from pretty much any other soap I've used. I've had people comment that I smell good and when I tell them that I use a coal tar soap they are always surprised. I'm so glad that this is back on Amazon because I was having trouble finding an affordable way to have it imported.

Purchased this for a friend that swears by it, even though I keep telling him it isn't the same old carbolic soap that he remembers.
