Quality issue - BUYER BEWARE! PYLE PRODUCTS ARE JUNK!!!
Based on the actions of Pyle over the past couple days, I have concluded that their sales model is build junk that is basically buy and replaces with little to no support or warranty! I purchased this unit from Amazon to replace a similar Pyle amplifier that lasted less than 14 months. This new unit lasted 3 months and same issue - powers up, but no sound. Tried to report the issue to Pyle customer service via website - site doesn't work. tried calling them and was given a rude customer support person that informed me I am responsible for shipping of the unit back to Pyle for repair. Really? unit is less than 90 days old and it doesn't work, now they want me to ship a $50 amp, that costs $25 to ship back to them to repair - what a joke. BUYER BEWARE!!! Hopefully someone from Pyle will read this message and track me down.

trash
I've been setting up stereos since my first one in 1972. This is by far the worst I have had. I bought it because I recognized the name Pyle, and there were over 1400 4 star reviews. First off. I was setting it up. One of the speaker clips fell out. I had to take the amp apart and put it back together. Then it happened again. after three tries I got it to hold. I don't dare move the amp. After a very short time. I started to hear loud distortion in the left channel. It sounds like a bad volume knob.Like the old amps would do after years of use. But no change when I mess with any of the knobs. Very disappointed. I don't dare and won't buy Pyle again.

Upgraded from Pyle 2x40
Got this as a replacement as my Pyle 2x40 was getting old and the volume knobs started getting some static in them. My speakers now distort after about 50% volume (a good thing). I'm not going to upgrade my speakers they are plenty loud at 50% volume. :) It's nice only having to put this thing at 50% instead of 100% with my old one that wouldn't put out max volume anymore. At 50% it doesn't even get warm to the touch. I love all the new features, inputs and outputs with a higher power amp. The VU meter is unnecessarily bright and distracting because I sit right next to it. One of the nice things about the 2x40 was no VU lights blinding me. Gonna put some black electrical tape over those LED's.

Pyle 2X120 Watt Home Audio Power Amplifier Speaker Wire Connectors
I bought this amplifier a few weeks ago. It is a nice amplifier for the price. The only issue is the speaker wire connectors (2) are made for very fine speaker wire. Although the amplifier is capable of producing very good sound, we all know it takes a heavier speaker wire to push a good speaker especially when distance is an issue. The speaker wire connector openings are very small, too small for good speaker wire. If you try to push open the hole too wide, the clips will break off and are extremely difficult to repair. Pyle did not reply to my email message in this regard. They come across as a friendly company that cares about their product and their customers, but I ain't seeing it. If you want to connect good speakers to an amplifier, this is probably not the amplifier for you only because the speaker wires will not fit in the speaker wire connectors... they break. I now use the amplifier for my children's television.

I've had several of the Pyle amps over the years ...
I've had several of the Pyle amps over the years and for the most part theyhave worked well. I was using a PTAU45 to power a couple of speakers and when nothing was playing I could hear a scratching static sound. I unhooked everything but the speakers and I still had the issue. It turns out the static was coming from the mic out circuit. If I turn the mic volume up (without a mic) the static increased in volume, so some kind of short or ground issue in the mic output. I ordered a new replacement amp and the first spring clip I used to hook a speaker wire up with came right off in my hand. I sent it back and ordered the basic 2x120 with no bells and whistles no USB no Mic output and no headphone jack. Just 2 RCA ins on the back and a 3.5 aux in on the front, and volume, base ,treble. If the spring clips don't hold together I'm going to another brand. I don't understand why Pyle won't put posts in the back for the speaker hook up at least on some models. I'd gladly pay extra for this feature.*********** The new Pyle PCA4 came in today and I had no problems with the spring clips and the amp works fine and powers my 50 watt Klipsch KG .5 bookshelf speakers very well, I can go past half volume (which is too loud for comfortable listening) before there is distortion. A good clean sound for the price of the amp. I still think there should be posts in stead of spring clips for the speaker wire.

Not as advertised
Not as advertised, great customer support advised me to contact Amazon and return. The knob came off day 2! I have great speakers but the sound is not sterile surround sound. It’s pandemic time I’m not in the mood to be out trying to get this machine scanned it worked for all of five mintues while I was talking to support. Hung up turned the volume up some and what do you know it wouldn’t play at all. Purchased rca plugs and got it to play but the sound is horrible and the button is broken. Con you have to either leave it on 24/7, or get up walk over to the set and turn it on or off or the volume. This piece is not in the 21st century technology.

Pyle of junk
I unpacked it, hooked it up to the speaker, and plugged the power cord into the wall. Then I inserted the USB to play some music. It plays music for about 2 seconds and stops. Tried numerous times to get it to play but it only plays for about 2 seconds at a time. Never seen the likes of it!

Do not buy!!!
The media could not be loaded. I had it only 3 weeks and this happened today. Very disappointed. Imagine how dangerous it could’ve been if I wasn’t inside the house!!!!!!!!! (Please note the amplifier wasn’t on a plastic box I put it down from the actual shelf when it started to smoke.) I will contact amazon for a refund.

Great big sound from a little box.
If you read Reviews of this Company you'll find there bad reviews....well not this one this is great product from a company based in New York U.S.A, the sound from my QTX Mini Monitor speakers is amazing, the features are great you can record out to tape or to CD-r deck, you even got a mike input with auto speak over fade if your Dj'ing at a home party, ive linked a Hecules DJ Control instinct deck, a CD only player, my IPOD classic 160gb and my Sound Lab USB Dj Deck to listen to my old vinyl, even linked my laptop for better sound and my SkyHD+ box and my Samsung Smart Tv to it using a passive 4 switch box because i have to many ways to play sound and music, haven't used the USB Memory stick socket as yet as i have all of my CD's In MP3 Form on my iPOD and i play most of my CD's on My CD Player through this unit, this set up is in the bedroom where i listen to most of my music 'cos of the little room i have left in the front room and it's where my disabled wife is more comfortable watching Tv.As I live in a bungalow with my disabled wife, even she's telling me to turn the sound down LoL, if your on a budget the or just starting out in Dj'ing or have little space this is the way to go for your hi-fi separate's...the flashing lights on the Db+/- counter can be off putting (say's my wife) but it don't bother me...a brilliant little box which i bought for under £60 quid on Amazon, there are other 120W Amps from PyleHome Audio but this is the only one at this amazing price that has Balance, Base and tone controls the others i've found have just Base and Tone...well worth the money. This is my Husband's Review here.

Small amplifier with great facilities
Having previously purchased one of these amplifiers, this is the 2nd one just obtained again from Thompsons. It's a compact versatile unit with numerous inputs and the necessary audio controls for accurate audio and eq levels. It runs cool [though I'm not using high level outputs] from the 240v mains supply [its a dual voltage 115/230v unit]. There is a residual very low level buzz if monitoring on headphones with audio gain turned to nil though will not be heard when music/speech is passing through. The package arrived from Thompsons within the advised delivery dates, well packed I'm very happy with this amplifier and can recommend the unit to other Amazon customers.

Really excellent value for money
Amazon U.K. came up trumps again; I ordered this amplifier which I needed urgently having had a disaster with my current one and it arrived with me here in France within three days without paying extra for quick delivery.I especially liked the facility for connecting an MP3 output to this amplifier and found the quality of the sound perfect for my purpose of sound for slide/sound presentations. This is really good value for money.

Brought new life to an old set up
This amplifier has brought life into an old set of 80s Bose speakers and a record player that hasn't had much use, making it a complete set and now a centre piece to my home. Very simple set up, not an extensive equalisation choice but don't need much more than bass and treble to have your favourite tunes playing just the way you like them. The Bluetooth worked instantly and is an absolute essential and has so much use especially with my smartphone. For the price, you really can't beat this product for an old set up that needs that little bit of TLC into the 21st century.
