Very hot torch
Definitely a hot torch. Puts out significantly more heat than the bernzomatic TS-8000. It does have a small learning curve in terms of getting the correct flame/pressure from the regulator. You might might want a smaller tip for anything less than 3/4 inch copper. You can very easily & quickly over heat the torch tip. It will turn the tip cherry red if you don't flow enough gas. Only complaints/suggestions is to provide a how to on adjusting the flame correctly & provide a striker to light the torch. Regulator screws directly into a propane tank, but will need adaptors to screw in with disposable 1 lb bottles. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
