Friday After Next [VHS]

The third part of most trilogies seems to be the weakest one, and whilst 'Friday After Next' is undoubtedly good fun, and packed with enough laughs to please fans of the previous two, it's a film which runs out of steam after a clever, often hilarious first half. Craig and Day-Day begin jobs as security guards at the local mall, conveniently the home of their family's BBQ eatery - with its superb slogan "tastes so good it makes you wanna slap your momma". Their working day is nicely put together, as they try to catch the Santa who robbed them at the opening of the film, and Craig tries to keep Day-Day's hilariously overactive attitude to security in check, whilst hitting on the charming, attractive Donna, girlfriend of one of the mall's shop owners. Unfortunately the film goes downhill about half way through - there's a party which goes on for far too long, and the writers seem to have used up all the best jokes and plausible sub-plots, meaning that the gags go from genuinely laugh out loud to pretty mediocre; and there are too many bizarre characters who pop up and disappear in a film which lasts only 80 minutes. For fans of the first two Friday films, there's enough here to make 'Friday After Next' worth buying, but do be prepared for the film losing its momentum after a while.

Excellent service. Package arrived on time and in excellent condition. Really enjoyed this final part of the Friday trilogy. The jokes kept flowing.

Brilliant film does not disappoint.The special features were a real treat too.

Craig and his cousin Day-Day have finally gotten jobs as mall security guards and moved into their own crib. When a fake evil Santa Clause robs their rundown apartment on Christmas Eve, they embark on a comical adventure in an effort to track down the bandit and retrieve their stolen toot. Meanwhile Day-Day's rent-a-cop tactics cause them to continually miss their chance to catch the Santa Clause and instead has them squaring off against innocent caroling ladies, shady neighbourhood kids and the police!

Loved it far exceeded Friday

Friday after next is the latest movie in the friday collection.The story is basically about Craig (Ice Cube) and DayDay (Mike Epps) getting into the usual trouble on a friday. This time round Craig and DayDay are given jobs as security guards at a local mall. But DayDays power trips cause them a few problems and their planned Christmas Eve party seems as if it aint gonna happen

the movie is a low budget B movie the script says it all slow to make me laugh.

film très drôle, pour une suite c'est vraiment sympa!! les acteurs sont tous géniaux! Surtout Pinky quel style! bref on se marre du début à la fin!

Amazone m'a livré et c'était superbe mais le film est vulgaire et n'est pas à mettre entre les mains de tous à cause de l'influence. Dommage qu'ils n'arrivent pas à s'exprimer autrement mais il renseigne et le rêve américain est moins prestigieux.

I have to say this tablet sucked. The battery was going bad and the Warren department did nothing to fix the problem. All they did was send me plugs and do a factory reset on it. It did not help. They were unprofessional in the matter and did everything they could not to replace the failing battery like I had asked them to. I want nothing more to do with them or theis products ever again. To top it all off the POS office stole it and it never reached it's destination of California and I never got my insurance from!them ither. I feel like I got robbed twice

Worth watching for some laughs based on light-hearted misadventures...
