can it be use in 2x3 stud wall

It is 2 3/4" from the back of the enclosure to the back of the drywall flange. So the answer would no. You could flange it out if you had to make it work.

what is the diameter of the bottom hole of the recessed box? 1.5” or 2” and is it threaded?

Both, 2&1.5”, 2” pipe slips over the connector and 1.5 slides inside of the connector of the box. No threads, it is for solvent connections.

does this come WITH the air admittance valve as shown in the picture? is that for 1 1/2 drain vent, or 2"?

Mine came with everything shown; air admitance valve, mounting box, and the cover plate. Was a 2” kit as it was what I needed.
