Makes the best cup of coffee you will ever drink...
We purchased this item for use while camping. It makes the best coffee. All you need is coffee and hot water. It keeps the coffee hot for several hours. We like it better than our Coleman 8 cup drip coffee maker that sits on a propane stove. It's usually just the two of us so this French press coffee maker is easier to use, more compact and lightweight. We still use the Coleman 8 cup drip coffee maker when camping with more people. But, for the two of us, this unit is perfect. Rugged and easily stowed away, this is a definite winner - especially, if you're backpacking.

2nd time ordering, it’s good
Perfect size for 1 ½ cups of coffee. Easy to use. Lightweight. Well insulated; keeps coffee hot and doesn’t leak. Can also use it for other hot beverages, without the French press filter part.

Works like a charm
/tested it this morning for the first time, in my hotel in Oaxaca, Mexico. Great coffee, easy to clean up, and gave me the boost needed to get going after a couple of nights without enough sleep.

DENTED Upon Arrival
How very disappointing that Espro does not provide a protective box for its products as Hydro Flask does. My coffee press came out of its plastic sleeve and flimsy bubble-pack mailer with a dent on the bottom. Hydro Flask used to be cheap with its packing materials in the past but seems to have learned that a sturdy cardboard box is required to prevent in-transit damage to its flasks. I’ll be complaining directly to Espro to say that that they need to provide better protection for its products because the customer cannot count on Amazon workers doing it for them. Fortunately, after a trial test-run, my dented coffee press does perform well….holds a hot temperature for over 7 hours and plunges down very easily. Another complaint is the very faint, difficult-to-locate “Max” fill-line. I had to shine a flashlight into the coffee press before I could see it and while filling it with hot water, the Max marking became invisible due to heat condensation. My other Espro coffee presses have very clear indented Max-fill lines which remain visible while pouring hot water….why on earth did they make things so difficult with this newer product? Is the thin lightweight body not thick enough for better markings? Overall, the coffee press works very well but there is definite room for design and packaging improvement. I’ve included a pic of the Hydro Flask (& its box) I received yesterday for comparison.

A Consumer Reports Suggestion
This is perfect for my travels, so I'm never stuck without coffee. I love that it can double as a travel mug/thermos.

From 12oz to 16oz
A few months back I bought the P1 which was only 12oz. I drink loose leaf herbal that I hand make to take with me on the road(semi truck driver). Although it made great tea, I found myself wishing there was more. So I bought the P0 16oz version.Same great quality and construction. Keeps my tea hot for hours. It doesn't have the fill line like the P1, but you should able to figure it out after a couple of brews. I love this travel french press, makes the perfect brew everytime! If you like fresh coffee or tea, this mug is on point!

Not sure why I purchased coffee from my cafeteria - this is the best
Can't believe how simple this is or how easy it is to clean. Plus the coffee is smooth and bold. I do recommend also using the coffee paper filters as it takes any bitterness out. On top of this, it will pay for itself over a short time.

Simply the best out there
I wanted to have good coffee while on the go without finding Starbucks and Neros profits.Fact is there were no plunger travel cups out there that I could find. Then Espro came along and I got the travel cup first and loved it but this one is even better - gets me a bit more coffee per make.Easy to use, no sludge in my last mouthful easy to clean and looks good.Only criticism I have is the Max level in the old travel mug was a lot easier to see than the new one! Minor as I use my sense of about right level but it was easier with the line dimple in the old.

Sehr gut
Kaffee den ich um 8 Uhr mache ist auch um 11 Uhr noch heiß...sogar wenn der Deckel gar nicht drauf ist.

Nifty product. Unfair to compare to aeropress.
I purchased this product out of curiosity due to the raving reviews I had heard about it. I had also heard varied reviews comparing it the aeropress so I was curious to know how it stacked up against the aeropress which I loved. I will compare this product to the aeropress as well as other thoughts I have on the product.Pros:- Self contained leak proof system, easy to delay cleaning/easy to clean- Thermal system great for on the go- Portable and sleek- Durable- Also works fine for other beverages other than coffeeCons:- Pricier than the aeropress, but the price is coming down to the point it is comparable- Occasional silt at the bottom of the cup, but far less than the typical french pressed coffee- Makes a really good cup of coffee, but I don't think many are going to massively abandon aeropresses for espros for coffee competitionsOther:- Different flavour profile to aeropress, unfair to directly compare it in my opinion other than for portability discussions. If you like aeropress coffee, this might not be for you.Overall, form wise, it doesn't take up much more space than the aeropress which allows the espro to fare well in terms of portability. I felt the flavour profile from the Espro vastly different than the aeropress. It was far more similar to the french press in my opinion which is a pro or a con depending on what you like for your coffee. I personally prefer aeropress, but I do think the Espro has its uses and I will continue to use this on a regular basis. I do like how you can make a cup of coffee in the Espro and delay throwing away the grinds until after you've finished drinking the coffee. I also like how you can make the coffee and have it portable and to go unlike the french press and aeropress which you have to transfer to another cup immediately.I did find that this was an excellent option for tea as it could strain the tea leaves. There are not many insulated container options out there as an all in one option that would beat the Espro for tea.I think this is a great product for tea and coffee. I would definitely consider buying this again, but probably more for tea than coffee.
