Loctite 1515861 Polyseamseal Tub and Tile Adhesive Caulk, 5.5-Ounce Tube, White - 2 Pack

I used to use 3M silicone sealants but recently they have not worked well. I don't know if 3M was sold to a different conglomerate and has cheapened their products or if it is just my imagination that they used to work well. Because the 3M sealant I used failed within a few months (including discoloring) I tried this Loctite product and was greatly impressed. It has much more adhesion than 3M silicone and is easier to clean up. Did 3M lay off their talented scientists and Loctite hired them?I don't know yet about the long term durability of Loctite but it has already lasted longer than 3M silicone. One item to note is that this Loctite sealant does shrink a little when drying. You must apply at least a moderate bead or it may crack while drying. This is not a significant issue for me since it is easy to avoid but worth keeping in mind.

This was the perfect amount for what I needed. It worked just as expected and I didn’t feel like I was robbed for how much I spent.

Has fulfilled its purpose in caulking around the kitchen sink and bathtub. Have applied it slowly in in layers. letting it dry in between applications. Comes in white or clear.

this calking was the easiest calk I have ever used. You just guide the tube and smooth with your finger. No fussing with a calk gun.

This stuff shrinks, cracks and will not stick. After prepping the area, cleaning with alcohol and applying the caulk, it all shrank and cracked. Removed it all and redid it. Within 12 hours is was all shrinking and cracked again. Applied more on top and it shrank again. This stuff is the worst caulk for the tub. Waste of time and money!!!***UPDATE***The cracking only got worse over a couple of weeks. Water has got down in the cracks and now the silicone will not stay put. This product is a super disappointment. To believe that paying extra for a product to believe it would be superior of others, is a shame to believe. I've now removed it again and went back to Home Depo to get their tub and tile caulk, and it's been rock-solid now for a few days. No cracking or splitting and it's still adhering to the surface

Used product in shower stall.The caulk is very pliable and you don't have to stand on the tube to get it to come out.

I used this product to repair the grout in my bathroom. Bathroom looks like new!

Great caulk. Could use within 24 hours. Sticky for two or three days but very good after that!!I recommend this product.
