Writing this review, 3 years later.The case is very good, however it does start to change colour after a few months to a year. I took it to university with me and nothing had any problems

For only £12.99 I expected this product to be of far less quality than it is!The cover is very soft and can be described as what I would say, a sort of matte material.When putting the bottom and back covers on, make sure they are clicked in! there are 2 places on the bottom cover that will click into the bottom of the Mac, on the left and right side of the trackpad, and there are 3 on the top of the screen, just above the webcam. There are also 2 on the sides, one on the left and right, near the USB and headphone portals. if you purchase one and it feels like it may be moving or not properly secured, just make sure these things have clicked, this may be the reason.the keyboard cover can easily be removed and moved, and it very secure when on the keyboard.The only reason I would not give this a 5 stars is because of the capability to remove it from your laptop. I have recently just put mine on and have not tried to fully take it off, but it does look very stiff and in place, but hey! this can also mean that it is secure and won't just fall of randomly. but yes, it may be a struggle to remove.it also comes with a screen wiper / cleaner.I hope this helps someone! have a good day if you're reading this:)

I bought the pink cover. The hard shell case clicked on easily with no issues and fits really well. The apple logo does show through but it is dimmed, but I don't have an issue with that. It does add some weight to your MacBook but as it's so light in the first place it isn't a problem for me. The keyboard cover goes on easily and fits the keys well overall. I've had no issues typing with it but it might take a while for some people to get used to it. My only issues are with the screen protector and the dust plugs. There are two plastic sheets which are numbered, and both have a label that says the same thing: "Thank you for using the LCD protecting film of our company. Please peel off the mask with this sticker." I've had a look on the product page and it doesn't say which one should go on. The thicker plastic one is the actual cover, I'm pretty sure, but some clear labelling/instructions would be an improvement. Mine is actually now unusable as I briefly put it down and it got some dirt on it, and when attempting clean it it somehow got scratched. I think if you put it immediately on your screen you'd be fine but I'd be very careful when trying to get any air bubbles out from under it and it seems to get scratched easily. The dust plug for the charging port seems to come out really easily and as that was the one that I actually needed I'm a bit disappointed, but the rest are fine. All in all you definitely do get your moneys worth, just be careful with the screen protector and don't expect too much from the dust plugs.

turns brown after a while, mine has cracks on it from constant use and its hard to remove from my macbook. I still use it because I cant be bothered to buy another case.

It was a little difficult to put on and I think I may have chipped it a little initially, however it’s a great product. I no longer worry about any scoff marks on my Mac because I know it’s protected well and the quality is great! Highly recommend.

It was quite difficult to get on but I’m assuming that this means it’s more secure in the case. But this does mean I don’t want to take it off unless I have to. otherwise very clean nice design and simple. Has protected my laptop well so far.

The case fits perfectly for a MacBook Pro but the screen protector was hard to apply (probably because of my own skills) the keyboard cover fits well and it’s very thin. but the satisfaction of the keyboard decreased but it’s not that much of a problem
