This is a great little unit. I'm using this one to drive my media center that pushes video to a projector that gives me a 100" screen. and a 5.1 speaker setup. The clarity on it is great and I can actually web browse from it and have no problem reading the text. I have a 3tb HD attached with a bunch of movies and TV shows with the right app I was able to get a great graphical catalogue of my media. The system allows you to install 3rd party apps from the play store as well as from media.I got one of those touchpad remotes for it and that works well. One thing i don't like about it is when you shut it down you have to unplug and replug it in to get it to come back on. it does not turn on via remote. This unit will not drive a 2.5" external drive on its own. you will need to have a external drive that provides its own power. I opted for a 3.5" as those usually will have their own.I have not attempted much gaming on this system. I tried playing mine craft but that game requires a touch screen. the remote I have is not multi touch responsive so it didn't play well. Also sometimes on some apps the remote's keyboard key input isn't taken and I have to use the onscreen. This may just be a setting I haven't found.

Bought this product after my desktop quit working and since I was use to a tablet I thought I would give it a try. It hooked up HDMI to my 23 inch monitor flawlessly and I hooked up my cordless keyboard and mouse and it works great. Hooked up my altec lansing speakers and they work great. I have only been using this product for a few hours and I love it. The only downfall and it was not a deal breaker for me is that this unit does not have a setting for bluetooth. I didnt care about that since I was going to hook up a cordless keyboard and mouse with the usb. I have looked in the setting and there is not a setting for bluetooth. This was a great alternative for me to replace my desktop for a fraction of the price and utilize the desktop products I already have.
