Surround sound feel from a soundbar
I have a 3d LG Google TV, 3d LG bluray player, and now an LG sound bar. They all work great together. The sound bar exceeded my expectations especially for the price. It is ready to go just plug and play. The sound is so crystal clear and it hits all the highs and lows. There is just the right amount of base and you can change it to night mode so you wont disturb those around you. There are several modes to choose from. I use the 3d mode. It sounds like there are rear speakers because the sound bounces of the walls. It's the perfect solution if you don;t want wires everywhere. The Bluetooth works great with my iphone and galaxy s4 active. It performs amazingly through action scenes, never crackles no matter how high i turn it up. Its crystal clear. It powers off automatically when not in use. The sub woofer is impressive and really helps with the lows even for deep voices and stays clear. I think I used the word clear enough to get across my point. I have it hooked up with Monster cable fiber optic cables which helps a lot too. There are two fiber optic inputs. I have one running straight from the blu ray and one from the TV output to control everything else. I just watched The Hobbit in 3D with this sound bar. Amazing... The speakers also don't sound like the people on TV are yelling at you either like some other soundbars. It looks beautiful and sleek as well which is a plus. The Bluetooth is so easy to use so the person who wrote Bluetooth fail is a moron. I will keep this short. I would highly recommend this product especially if you have other LG products. I paid 300 dollars for mine and don't even care that it is on sale now for 200. It's that good. If anyone has questions I would be happy to answer.

Good sound, easy setup, nice price
Considering price, this is a worthy sound bar. I bought it to improve the sound for our tv in the sun room. Flat panel tv's are getting thinner and smaller for the given screen size. That means less and less room for proper tv speakers.Reading this review, realize I didn't buy this sound bar expecting all out performance. I have a decent 5.1 system in the basement for when I want to crank up a big action movie, and I a have a good 2.0 system in another room for music listening. All I wanted was an improvement for the sound of our flat panel tv and this sound bar definitely delivers. The sound is well projected, making dialog much easier to understand than with the tv speakers. The subwoofer puts out nice bass, filling the bottom well providing a balanced sound. We have small children that go to bed early, so we haven't cranked it up. But, at modest volumes the sound is clean and pleasant.Setup was easy, I used the included optical cable and connected it to the output on the tv. I am using the tv remote to control the volume. Vizio has the ability to program the remote for you for numerous devices. The subwoofer paired easily after I plugged it in next to the couch across the room. I also tested the bluetooth functionality and it worked well with my android phone. At higher price points, I'm betting you can get cleaner, fuller sound. LG isn't an established speaker manufacturer but they've built a competent system here that meets our needs. Recommended.

Great Value for the money - Sound Sync issue
I had (2) 55" 2014 Vizio Smart TV's and decided to buy both the LG3530 and the Vizio S5430W-C2 sound bars so I could shoot them out myself for my purposes. One TV is in a large room with a high ceiling 30 x 30 the other in the master bedroom 25 x 20. The TV's stock speakers honestly don't have that bad of sound (depends on your stds and needs) but turning them up they stay reasonably clear and adequate. I figured for movies and shows other than regular TV the sound bars would make a difference. They did. I tried both sound bars on both TV's. I will cut to the chase as I read 50 of these reviews before buying and that's why I ended up with both of them. Turns out the wireless Sub woofer on the LG makes a substantial difference in a movie, especially with actions sounds. The bass is much fuller while retaining the crisp voices. The wife does not like woofers in her room, so having it wireless I was able to find a compromising spot so we both won. I gave the LG a 4star rating for 2 reasons. First its not "invisible" like the Vizio, meaning the Vizio has the standard cloth covers over the speakers (personal choice) but the LG without the cloth covering detracts from the look we wanted on a brand new river rock fire place with the TV built in. We really didn't want to have it stand out. The LG stands out because the speakers are not covered. Second, the LG will not sync to the cable company remote where the Vizio syncs up immediately and works perfect. Its so nice not having a bunch of remotes to keep track of, just one is very nice, it controls everything. I used Optical connections for both and the sound is much improved on both mostly in the bass area. The LG is better because of the woofer, but the Vizio can add a woofer if needed. For my use in the master bedroom the Vizio works perfect, as I don't have space for the woofer. In hindsight I would have opted for the 34" Vizio as a 54" long soundbar is long (made for 60"+ TVs). Both hook up easily and work right away. The sub woof on the LG sync'd instantly. If you shoot them out on the same TV the LG wins. But the Vizio wins for bedroom use and no space for a woofer. Both were packaged well and shipped via Prime on time, the Vizio comes with a nice assortment of cables and accessory box. The moral to the story might be to buy a soundbar brand that matches your TV brand, but it would be nice if all these folks figured out we as consumers don't like 4 remotes on the table and most of us have cable or satellite TV's that need sync-ing to.For me these two choices worked out great other than what is mentioned above.

Great sound bar
I found the LG sound bar perfect for my new 50" Toshiba TV. I mounted it below the TV with a braked supplied with the unit. I like the wireless woofer and the feature that turns both, the woofer and the bar on and off automatically when the TV is turned on and off. The woofer has a large range of adjustable volume that I found very useful. The main speakers can be set to different setting i.e. natural, clear voice, night etc. which I found very useful. Installation was a breeze. You just connect the bar to the TV optical output, plug bar and woofer cords to electrical outlet, turn the TV on, put it on MUTE, and adjust the volume on bar remote and you are done. The system has lots of power and can fill large room with great sound. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Simply Stunning!
I am blown away how this thing sounds out of the box. The bass is awesome and the sound is so crisp. It has two optical in, USB, Bluetooth and LG TV Link. You can also set the sound delay to sync your TV audio to the soundbar. It was so easy to setup and the wireless sub works without issue a good 15' away. I am stunned how loud this unit goes as well and still maintains sharp crisp sound without distortion. I am so happy with this unit and the purchase I probably will buy another. For the price and feature set of this soundbar, it is simply stunning and a clear winner.

Feet would be Nice
Great sound with many options & a real good remote. The only thing that would make it better is rubber feet underneath. It seems that the intension is that you use the wall mount bracket (supplied), which I don't want to as have the TV in a cabinet, with the sound bar above it. It rocks around a little if you touch it, but at least it doesn't vibrate (so far).
