ROYALL LYME, Men's Heritage Cologne, Inspired by Bermuda – 8 Fl oz Splash

Have always loved Royall’s colognes. Some of my earliest scent memories, as my dad wore varieties on rotation (Rhum, Spyce and Lyme). The Lyme is a great unisex scent, and I will wear alone or layer with other scents (like BTSO’s Gold Juice). Very affordable, entirely wearable, nice silage without being overwhelming and decent longevity. Happy to keep in rotation.

I like this cologne so much that I use it sparingly, using other colognes instead. It has a very fresh, invigorating smell. After coming home from works I put in a little bit, to refresh myself before going out again.

A great light clean scent

I was hesitant to try it. Reading some of the reviews, you would think that at one time this was the greatest aftershave known to man that has only been sullied by greedy businessmen more concerned with increasing their profit margin. I don't know how, or where, this stuff used to be made, and frankly I couldn't care less. The thing is they're not reviewing this product, but the memory of something that frankly might never have existed except in their memories. What I think is funny is when someone makes a purchase for nostalgic reasons--and, I completely understand this, I have sought out many products I remember from years ago--and that product doesn't match their expectations, it's always, "They changed to formula!" or "They cheapened it!" It's never that person's memory making it a little more grand than it actually was. One fellow was even lamenting that it doesn't still have a lead cap. If it had had asbestos packaging, he probably would have complained about them getting rid of that too. OK, so rather than writing a review of the reviews here is what it actually is like: It has really deep, rich lime scent. When I thought of lime, I guess I was thinking of something sweeter. But, I actually prefer this scent to the one I was imagining. It can be worn during the day. It is probably not the longest lasting, 2 or 3 hours maybe--although I've heard it used to last for days. Anyway, you don't have to be concerned about walking around engulfed in a haze of scent. I've always preferred subtle to overpowering, so that was another welcomed surprise. I would I say I'm pleased with it.

Tried and true. At 90, he's been wearing Royaall Lyme for a very long time I STILL LOVE TE FRAGRANCE ON HIM. Subtle and pleasant, hasn't lost its appeal

A favorite fragrance from the early 70s. Still think it’s clean, classic, and refreshing.

I bought this for my boyfriend years ago and always loved it fresh scent. This year I bought it for my son at Christmas. He texted me and told me it was now his favorite aftershave, although it can be used anywhere on the body.

This is an amazing fragrance, light and summery!

Royal lime has always been a favorite with me, so it was with sadness that I found that my local store did not carry it and in fact had to be imported. It is such a fresh scent. Very cool and refreshing during the summer. And not too strong. Delivery was prompt . I will order from Amazon again for this product

Good after shave for me. Been using it for years. Also like their Mandarin.
