From the moment I opened this package I knew this was a top notch product. My first impressions, just like yours, are coming from the price. You'll be surprised just like I am. I had expected material of the box to be more like the flimsy material used for reusable grocery shopping bags - it's not. The materials are much better, not flimsy, it's actually closer to something you'd put a laptop in - yes, that sturdy. My impression of the actual screen material was also wrong. Those rolls of fabric are not as sheer as I had envisioned I'd receive. These are quality rolls and the red and blue being velvet like. These are not loosely knit, they are quality materials and should last a long time - especially with the way they're meant to be used. So when I opened the lights, I thought "okay here's where they cut costs", because the lights are really light weight and plastic. The lights actually had me yelling "WOAH". They are super bright, with WHITE light. Not like a number of LED's that still put out a yellowish hue. They lit up the entire room, even though the room light was on, and the blinds letting in natural light ... Impressive. Even more impressive, was that you can replace the bulbs. That means quality to me, it really does because it's not a consumable -just the bulb. The tripod is a light-weight aluminum, but will be sturdy enough for a phone, and will likely adjust to the height you need for taking pictures of what's in your LimoStudio box. If there is a piece I will change out, it's the mount for holding the phone. The mount is similar to the wire-type you get with those inexpensive selfie-sticks. Which doesn't put me off at all. There are only two reasons to change out this piece. A) I have a big phone (LG Stylo 2) and this mount won't open wide enough especially if I have the case on my phone. B) You can't change orientation of the phone into portrait mode, to possibly get taller items - and for being something so minor, don't let that stop you from buying this amazing kit. Also of note, is that the box, folded into folio, includes 3 pockets on the front of the bag. I put two lights in one pocket, the center pocket held the mini-tripod, a 2nd tripod that I already had, and the mounting brackets (the one it came with, and another I already had). Plus a camera tripod mount (when I might need it), I still have an empty 3rd pocket, and I rolled all 4 color backdrops on one roll, and the folio flap holds that roll in place - and it takes up almost no space. It fit behind my other bags, or slides under my bed with ease. All in all - be wrong about this set of photo kit just like I was. I am very happy I didn't let the price be my first impression. I'm impressed.

It's very affordable and comes with everything you need to get you started (sans the phone obviously). I've used it quite a few times now since I've gotten it about a month or two ago and it works great for my needs! The lights are bright and the size inside is big enough for most things. Love that it came with different backdrops too, albeit I use the white one 90% of the time. The backdropis, however, a little thin, so if you put it on over something like a wood table, the color of the table can be seen through. To combat this, I just put a sheet of white printer paper underneath and problem solved! Also, the phone tripod is pretty cheap feeling, but it gets the job done. Overall, I'm happy with it and do recommend it! I bought this to replace one that I have lost. I don't like this one as well as my former one, but this one is still pretty nice. I like how you can store the lights and the cell phone holder in the case itself. It comes with red, white, black or blue backgrounds that you can hook up with Velcro (attached) so that you can get the best picture available. The cords on the lights are pretty short, so an extension cord is a must in order to use them. I don't like that. However for taking shots of small items this is a smart little studio to do just that. The cell phone holder that comes with it is supposed to be able to screw together to hold some cell phones. Mine wouldn't screw together at all. I have contacted the seller about that, but haven't heard anything back yet. I'm sure I can find another phone holder, but it would be nice if the one included with it would work for that function. Overall, not a bad item. Update: The seller sent me a replacement part for the cell phone holder. Unfortunately, they shipped the legs and not the holder, so I needed to contact them again and ask them to ship the correct part. It did finally arrive and it fit perfectly. So although it took a bit of back and forth communication, I did receive the correct part and it does work with my cell phone. I'm still leaving it at 4 stars just due to the wrong item shipped and the item not working as well as I had hoped.

I'm not a photographer. I have trouble taking pictures of small items without them being blurry, usually due to poor lighting. Or I find myself spending too much time cleaning out stuff from the background the item is the main focal point. Whether it's for jewelry my wife's made that she wants to take pictures of, or items I want to post a review on, or something the kids have made and want to take a picture of, I was surprised at how often we could use one of these. Not being a photographer, I just wanted something basic and inexpensive. This is just that. It makes it much easier to get well lit photos of small objects without anything in the background. It's pretty simple to setup, the panels simply unfold and connect to each other with velcro. The included storage bag is nice, though I do wish it did a better job of storing the included white/red/blue backdrops. Those come rolled on a cardboard tube, which really doesn't fit well in the case. The lights are adequate. Being LED, they don't get hot. They seem to give off enough light, but it does seem like it would help if they were a bit brighter. The tripod and phone holder are pretty basic. Don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed. They'll hold lightweight phone ok, and help reduce blur in your photos, but I can't imagine it holding up a camera or anything with any heft to it. I didn't get this for the tripod though, I considered that a freebie. I liked how this was all inclusive and easy to use, and at a price point that made it practical to get for casual use.

I sell my crafts online and they are very small scale, tested this out and it works great! The two LED lights that come with it offer plenty of lighting, and they do not get hot up close to the sides of the photo booth (something I was worried about during purchasing). VERY easy to assemble! Goes together with a complete line of strong Velcro so if you have to move it around or adjust placement, it doesn't come apart at all. The backdrops are super easy to change out, also with a full line of Velcro, so no sagging areas. I was really impressed with the backdrops! These came in four colors, and they are a matte finish on one side so no weird camera effects and you can focus on your subject matter, and a silky satin on the other. My only complaint is the carrying case kind of "hangs off" the back of the booth, I really wish this wasn't permanently attached because I don't need it but so far hasn't effected photo quality so it really is just a preference on my end. Great kit, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Good things: - Okay price - Bright lights - Easy to assemble Bad things: - Backing fabrics were packed horribly and will be wrinkled forever. I opted for this one because it included higher-quality backing, but they were basically just shoved into the package and wrinkled very badly. Not useable out of the package. - No bottom. It's not apparent from these photos, but this is basically a 4-sided cube. As a result, it's a little tougher to set up, and has to be manually adjusted so there are no cracks. - Light diffusion seems really poor. Items in the box still get a bad glare unless you move the lights far away. - Everything feels extremely cheap. - Heavy black fabric case that this comes in CANNOT be removed. It's permanently attached to the back of the box, making it lopsided, and taking up more space than it needs to. Overall, this is JUST about worth the $35 price, but you're going to have to fidget with it a whole lot in order to get good results. Poor design choices really make this an unpleasant, but useable, product.

As a seller of products on the Internet, I've learned that doing things yourself can save you a ton of money. Product photos can be as much as $50 per image, and when you need to have 8 or so done for a new product, those costs go up. Additionally, most product photographers can take quite a while to get to your image, as they must work in large volume in order to make ends meet. That's not to say, of course, that I didn't love the photographs of the many talented photographers that have taken photographs of my products. They were great. Truly. But when you start launching 4 products a month, costs start driving a spike through your margins. Therefore, I knew it was time to teach myself how to do my own product photography. Really, if you have an iPhone, subscribe to Photoshop (a must have for anyone selling stuff online, too), and can take the time to watch a YouTube video or read a WikiHOW article, then this is the last piece of the puzzle. The LimoStudio 16" x 16" table top photo lab comes with everything you need. The bag itself transforms into the studio, giving the three sides not covered by the multiple sweeps that it comes with (red, black, white, and blue). It also comes with two pretty strong LED lamps with their own built in tripods, and to top it off, it awards you a mini tripod for your iPhone. The only complaint I really have is that the white sweeps aren't as clean as I'd like, but that's nothing a Brush set to #ffffff in Photoshop can't take care of. At a ridiculously LOW price of, like... jeez? What? $37 *INCLUDING* shipping, this thing is horribly underpriced. It's worth at least double that value. If you're a private labeler or eCommerce person or paint miniatures or whatever... THIS thing is where it's at.

I read a lot of reviews on so many similar products and all of them have positive and negative feedback. This one seemed to have some of the better feedback and so I proceeded with caution. This product far exceeded my expectations! I love that it has a built in storage and it takes seconds to put together and take down, which is important because I have minimal workspace. I have pets so it helps protect the fabric from damage and hair. The attachable colors are not folded or wrinkled although with the white, you will want to place a sheet of white paper under it because the color of the table underneath will show through. You cannot see the seams once fully constructed. I put this near a window that gets indirect light and tried it mid day and also around dusk and got fantastic results without the extra lights (which I have not needed yet). Oh also, I take the photos using my phone and again, the photos appear to be professional level with very minimal if any computer editing required. I am very happy with my choice.

I purchased this because I wanted to present my items in a professional manner when trying to sell them on eBay. I was very impressed with the quality of the product: the sheets, stand, carry bag, and high intensity portable lights. Best of all, everything fits in a lovely bag that I can transport anywhere I want. I don't know the first thing about photography and I was able to take pictures as attached. Very impressive :D

Me gustó mucho todo lo que incluye éste kit, para iniciarse en la fotografía de producto, es una compra muy bien desquitada. Todo llegó a tiempo y bien empacado, mucha seguridad y la portabilidad es muy práctica. Me ayudará mucho en mis futuros trabajos de fotografía, las lámparas aunque son pequeñas, dan una luz muy buena para el espacio que ocupa la caja; los fondos azul, rojo, blanco y negro, fáciles de colocar. Sí lo recomiendo :)
