it was beautiful, soft leather. Came packaged wonderfully protected against any "squished marks or mis-shapened". Pristine presentation. As he is my new son in law I wanted to impress! He is really into journaling his travels etc and he was quite excited to get this one. Its large enough without being to large. Also nice that its refillable with the same quality paper as the original paper. Too often journals are refillable but you must just refill with regular white paper. I would recommend to anyone looking for a classic journal.

I received this yesterday... When I opened the package, the Journal was in a box as well as a protective cloth sack. The leather has a nice feel and the pages seem very good quality. Leather seems to be dyed through. Pages are not bleached so they look like a a beige color. The pages are lined but not too distinct but still where you can see them if your writing; but if your drawing a picture the lines wouldn't be too noticeable... very good quality product well worth the price...

I started jotting down my thoughts as a way to help me process things, I'm autistic so smell, touch etc can effect me but this journal was perfect, the smell the feel the design it made me putting my thoughts into words all that easier. I have not filled out up yet but with the quality of everything including the leather, ill definitely buy it again.
