Best/ smartest thing ive ever bought
Packaging was very secure, easy to unpack, great instructions for set up/care.Great quality equipment, wish the glass jar felt a bit more stronger but im just careful carrying/lifting it..Definitely use two hands when its full of pure distilled H2O water but otherwise its a beautiful distiller/glass container.I use it every other day, just for myself and my pets but dose warm up the room its in (been very nice in the winter so far, see how summer goes) but the pure H2O water it produces is so pretty...it basically sparkles its so clear. So the gunk in the tank afterwards is always different, im kinda shocked that the tap water in Chicago is so gross but im not realy suprised. Im sure there is worse places, im mostly left with murky water and build up residue but a few times its been like mushy boogers galore..so gross and I cant imagine what that is ive been drinking.Very easy to clean, ive just been using white vinegar (soaking for 5-30min depending) wipes right off and good to go.Ive been filling just a little past the line (don't go over or it will overfill the glass jar, but I do this so it turns off with some water left in it and dosen't completely dry up... regardless the white vinegar cleans it right up.*Dont open or clean till its cooled off.*Going to by a can of air too clean the fan and coils with from any dust that might build up on them.I love it so much, the water tastes AMAZING.I add sol'e (that I made) to my 2 gallon drinking water container for some good natural minerals, just a half teaspoon. Ive also been given it to my cats, the love it and just started giving my plants some as well (but without any sol'e) I have a spray bottle of distilled pure H2O on my bathroom sink that I use to wash my face now...my skin is glowing.A few days after drinking the distilled pure H2O water my joints felt so much better it incredible but I did notice i was having detoxing effects from drinking it but wasn't that bad and well worth the benefits. Also noticed my teeth seem cleaner/so smooth and shiny.Best thing you can do is invest in your health and this is a great 1st step in that direction.100% recommend this for your home. Ps: i paid for this with my own money, for my own personal use in helping my health.*update* works GREAT, very happy with it. One recommendation is to not let it run till it turns off (u can of course) but I find that any funky smells/dry residue left behind from water in tank can be really bad and put the filter through hell, even ruining fresh distilled waterwith icky smell.. Also definitely wait till inside of tank airs out/cools down because when you open it the smell can be harsh. After that i put icky smelly filter in some distilled water for 30min, then again in more fresh distilled water for another 30min let dry in sunlight and its been good too reuse.

Texas Freeze of Feb 2021 Tested!
I ordered this almost two years ago proactively in preparation for emergencies. I got it out of the box February 2021 when we experienced the unprecedented Texas freeze in Southeast TX. We had no electricity and no water with our temp highs in the teens. We had enough drinking water on hand until our city water was restored, but then we were on boil only orders. I got out this distiller and put it to work. It took care of our drinking water needs for the next couple of weeks until we felt our water could be trusted again to get our usual local filtered dispensed water. Our son came to visit after our electricity was restored to help us repair water damage in our home from a burst pipe. He said he liked the taste of the distilled water better than our bottled water. It does take patience to distill the water because it takes about 5 hours to distill a gallon. I would start a new cycle in the morning and another at night before we went to bed. That way I could get 2 gallons per day if I stayed on top of it. It was relatively easy to clean, I just wiped out the residue and used some of the salts to boil in some water for about 20 minutes of plugging the distiller back in. Then clean that out and the inside would shine like new again. I probably could have skipped this cleaning process every other time but I didn’t want the residue to build up where it might be more difficult to clean, and I liked keeping the clean up easy. My husband was glad I had bought this back when he thought we had no need of it, and told me that he believed we really need another one! The most challenging thing I can say about it is that it requires electricity. You plug it in to an outlet. So imagine if you needed to use it in a situation where you have no electricity, as we did. Thankfully we always have drinking water stored on hand, and we had enough to get us through until our electricity was restored. But if it was longer, then you have to be prepared for that. We have two gas powered generators. I am also wanting to get some solar powered battery banks that have outlets. We are in hurricane way on the gulf coast so we need to be prepared for anything as weather conditions continue to be unprecedented. We all need to be prepared for any situation and this is one of those necessary tools, as water is essential. I imagined as I searched for a water solution before ordering this, that worst case scenario, we live near a bayou where if I had a distiller, I could even get pond water and could distill pure water out of that. Well it didn’t quite come to that out of our “freeze” and though it was miserable I knew it would last for just a few days, and it was only 5 days without city water. This distiller was put to the test and did great. Our son even preferred this water over our stored water, and after it was all over we decided we could use a second distiller.
