Great deal!
For the price this was an amazing deal...bought this so i could get around town with my 2.5 year old son...but found that my 4.5 year old wants to sit with this little brother too much to ride his own bike...still maneuverable with the two kids...they are squished sitting together but they manage fine. Great storage in the back and it was easy even for me to set it up by myself! Was sent a obvious damaged return the first time by the company...so that was a pain in the behind waiting for the replacement trailer and having to return the damaged one.

Exactly what I wanted!
This is exactly what my husband & I were looking for to take our daughter on bike rides. It is very safe, secure & well put together. Plus, it comes apart very easily for storage. She loves it too. I would feel really comfortable putting a second child in there with her as well, it is supposed to hold up to 100 lbs. I would definately reccomend this product to anyone who is interested, plus, the price is fantastic. You really have to seacrh several online stores to find the bike trailer & everyone is priced so differently, but this one is just like all the others I saw but alot better price wise for the same thing & qauality.

Horrible - Make sure your bike is compatible
Make sure that your bike is compatible with this trailer. It doesn't work with every bike, it didn't with mine. I called Allegro Medical several times to try and return it and they gave me a hard time about it saying I cant return it unless it is defective. So now I have a bike trailer and a bike that don't work together and I'm out $85.00. Horrible

Poorly designed seating system
The seating system in this product is horribly designed and unworkable for one much less two children. The seat is a sling style hung between a rigid upper bar and a nylon strap that extends between the two sides of the frame under the child's legs. The nylon strap cannot be tightened sufficiently and there is not enough seating material slung between the upper bar and the lower strap. As a result the child ends up sliding forward and off the seat - very uncomfortable and unpleasant for the passenger. If you attempt a two child configuration, you'll have two children smooshed together and sliding off. The actual frame and wheel system seems well-designed, but the attachment to the pulling cycle is sub par.

Decent for the price, however...
THE GOOD: Set up is simple (even right out of the box), built quality is good on the frame, wheels are smooth, enough room for my 2 and 4 year old boys along with cargo space in the back. Average weight based on competitors, the covers since tight with straps (avoiding fabric flap in the wind). The trailer pulls well, I notice a little bit of push-pull when riding at slow speeds, but nothing that will bother anyone IMO. At speeds above 15mph (less than 20mph), the trailer handles just fine. The only time I really felt it is going uphill. The point of connection is well thought out and works with disc brakes.THE BAD: Fabric material is not good. In fact, I think it will begin to rip in the near future (less than 1 year). I've owned this for a couple of months now, and am starting to see signs of wear in the foot area. Getting kids in/out means unsnapping half the canopy (no zippers). My major problem are the restraint straps. They are pretty bad, very thin and no padding. Both my kids get neck marks from the straps (chafing). I used automobile shoulder belt cushions to try and solve the problem, but the fit isn't quite there and they slide down, exposing the thin straps to their necks again.I'm considering a Burley or Chariot to make the kids more comfortable. Also, I can get rid of our jogger and have a "Do-it-all" carrier. As for the InSTEP Take 2, you really do get what you pay for. However, if you're on a budget and want to take the kids for a spin, this will get you started. Good luck.

Poor material but overall good cheap trailer
This trailer is very good on price but the material could be better. Even with being careful not to rip the fragile nylon material, the areas around the snap fastener will seperate first then anywhere stress is put on it (i.e. straps). After about the 3rd time using it, I didn't grab the snap close enough, and pulled the nylon, and started to rip it until I caught myself. Did this on a couple different areas. Overall, it is very stable, very easy to connect to the hub, and you can ride at 15 mph on a smooth service with no worry about it tipping over. The hardest part about the setup is putting the hub on the rear wheel of your bike. Very easy to fold back up and hang up on a hanger in your garage.

Easier than I thought
This bike trailer seems heavy when you are carrying it in a box, but once it's on the back of your bike, it's easier to pull than you may think. It was sligtly difficult to put together (fold open), simply because the components that slide together were a bit sticky. Over time, I imagine, they'll become easier to slide together and apart. The assembly is all pins, so it wasn't too hard to do. I also didn't realize that this comes with the extra wheel and push bar to convert it to a stroller. Added bonus!

Very nice
Just got this for my 2 year old....Haven't gotten to use it for a long period of time yet, but the quality is great. The size is perfect and it seems like it will seat my son comforably. I like that it comes with the stroller option, though I haven't used it. I don't really forsee a time when I would need to as it would be a very large stroller for just one kid. It was extremely easy to put together. The picture color is spot on.
