TL;DR : These provided me a simple solution for my work laptop that I feel had no good air circulation. The two "legs/ feet" do nestle together nicely due to their magnets. The rubber on the bottom and top have prevented me from sliding the laptop. The angle is low enough that I can still comfortably type on my laptop. I would recommend this to other people as a simple non-intrusive/ non-committal solution. My wordy review: After my 8 year old laptop sadly died at work I received a new one but I noticed an issue with the new one that I did not have before. My old laptop had air vents off to the side/ front and I felt it allowed for enough air circulation, the fans of that old laptop were never loud. This new laptop has the air vents on the bottom of it (nothing off to the sides, front or back). After about a week of using this laptop I grew tired of the fans kicking on all the time and I felt as though it was not allowing enough circulation. I went on a hunt for a solution that is not too intrusive. I like to use my laptop keyboard so almost all of the stands I found would not work because it either props the laptop up to an intense angle or it lifts the laptop fully off of the desk limiting how comfortable it would be for myself. After some more searching I found these and thought that they could work for me, I just want to be able to lift the laptop up enough in the back to provide more space. I have been using these for a little bit and so far I find them to fully meet my expectations. For a work laptop this is perfect, I am not doing too many super taxing projects and since I started using these my computer has stopped having to kick up the fans all the time. The angle that the laptop is now at is still a comfortable one for me, I am very happy. These function how I would expect them to, they have rubber on the top and bottom to prevent the laptop from sliding around. These feel sturdy to me, I type with my laptop keyboard so my hands rest on the laptop and I have not had to re-adjust the laptop at all from it moving. I am personally not going to be traveling with these so I will not be using the nice nesting feature that keeps them together with magnets. I wanted to show in my picture that the two pieces fit together nicely when you interlock them. The only modification I did for these is that I removed the magnets. I do not plan on bringing these when traveling so I do not need the magnets since they are needed for travel. I am just always a bit nervous when it comes to magnets and computers, since these will stay at my desk forever I removed them. It was easy, I used a small tool I had but I bet if you straightened out a paperclip you could use that to fish the magnet out. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wanted a similar solution.

Great for adding a little more open space under the laptop to help with cooling, and the magnets are cool so they stay together when tossed in a bag. Definitely not a substitute for a more substantial laptop stand, but for something so small and easily positioned, I like this.

Now this is what I was needing for a long while! I bought these pads to help cool my laptop during intense gaming sessions because the clearance between it and the table is low enough for hot air to be trapped and cause issues, but these pads may have saved my laptop for at least another year of use. Although the rubber part below makes it a pain to move the laptop around the table (especially since I like to shift my seating position quite frequently) but so far they are working as intended and are a nice purchase for me.

Was not what I expected. Order these for my brother's new gaming laptop, which has powerful internal fans but needed a way to provide better airflow intake. And these has done that! These was much smaller than what I thought and to be honest,I thought these was small cooling "fans". Surprised there no fans in these. Instead these are about 1" each,and gets placed under the back corner that raises the laptop to allow better airflow under the laptop for the internal fan in the laptop. They are just the right size lift that also still permit a comfortable use of the keyboard as well as more airflow under the laptop. They are great to store when traveling with your laptop. I plan on getting a set for my own laptop now. Great price, very convenient, light and well made. They also are very functional not sliding around under the laptop. I recommend 100%

Well made and packaged product! The magnet strength isn't that powerful, but the two pieces do stay together. The rubber top/bottom prevents sliding very well, and the elevation (about 1 inch) is sufficient for improving cooling. Couldn't be more simple!

I purchased this item about a year ago, in the hopes that it would help cool my laptop down. I have a laptop at work that was always shutting off on its own, when I would lock it and be gone for more than 20 minutes (like at lunchtime). IT couldn't figure out why, and said I probably would need a new one. Eventually I noticed how hot the laptop was getting when it was flat on the desk, so I started raising it up on little notepads just to test my theory, and that worked, and it stopped shutting down on its own. So I searched online and found these little guys. I love the small size of these, and that they're magnetic so they stick together for storage. The magnet is really strong, too, so they do not come apart on their own, but are easy to take apart when you're ready to use them. They take up so little space in my backpack, and since I got them, my work laptop has not shut down on its own even one time. I love this item! I use it every day I'm at work. I'm going to purchase another set for my personal laptop at home.

Magnets aren’t strong enough to create hold. You’ll need an extra 8mm magnet per puck to get them to hold on. Would have been useless, but I happened to have spare 8mm magnet in my craft supplies. Buyer beware.

Ce support pour PC portable est un produit simple mais vraiment efficace. Il relève l’ordinateur de manière stable, ce qui facilite grandement la ventilation et évite la surchauffe lors d’utilisations prolongées. Il vantaggio di questi piedini rispetto a tutti i supporti che ho provato é che stanno in qualsiasi borsa da PC senza problemi. Non correrai mail il rischio di graffiare il Portatile in quanto la superficie sotto la scocca é gommata. E' gommata anche la parte sotto, per cui una volta posizionati i piedini e appoggiato il notebook sarà tutto molto stabile e non si muoverà assolutamente nulla. Sono esteticamente belli da vedere, anche su una scrivania elegante non sfigureranno affatto. Con questi piedini la ventilazione del notebook é notevolmente migliorata. Carino il fatto che si possano richiudere uno sull'altro con l'aggancio magnetico, é semplicemente un add-on opzionale ma lo trovo simpatico, un altro punto a favore. Conclusioni: Massimo risultato col minimo ingombro, semplicissimi da utilizzare, belli esteticamente. 5 stelle consigliate. PS: Grazie di nuovo a Gesualdo Lo Monaco per averli portati su un suo video, io li ho visti là.

This product is brilliant in its simplicity. It consists of two supports / 'pillars' that lift the back of your laptop to increase the airflow and thereby improve the cooling performance. Works exactly as intended. My only (minor) issue is with the product title: it is nothing like a cooling pad, which (to me) implies a larger flat item (pad) that actively cools [a laptop]. Great that both sides stick magnetically to each other so they stay together when you throw them in your travel bag.
