needed them for simply connecting/securing jobs around the house and they're great/cheap enough for that; series of different colours of that's your thing; are well manufactured and move/close well; just bear in mind it's not for mountaineering where you need professional stuff, and if you go well beyond 100kg for hanging things like seats/hammocks then consider doubling up

I feel that they are strong enough for securing luggage on a domestic vehicle. Probably the minimum you can get away with. My skinnier ones soon broke. The spring gate is quite well implemented. Obviously, they are not strong enough for climbing or for use on trucks etc. Pretty colours!

These are great - pretty colours, and a good size. As stated in the product description, these (obviously) aren't for going actual mountain-climbing with, but I find them really useful for securing household and travel stuff to other stuff. I don't like carabimers that have those 'screw-secure' add-on bits as I find they get in the way, so I was happy to find some of this design still for sale. You do get the whole colour-range shown in the pics with the purchase, which I didn't think was totally clear when I bought the carabimers, so that's another plus.

Very useful items with many daily/household uses. I have a few attached to a bungee cord secured in the boot of my car. I secure my shopping bags to them. Also good for holding your spare keys securely and in one place.

Good quality and easy to use.

These arrived without delay and were well packaged with each clip individually bagged and then collectively packaged in a resealable plastic bag. Each clip is lightweight at 15g each and they are in a variety of colours. As stamped on each clip these are "not for climbing" I purchased these to attach garden furniture covers to weights to prevent the covers blowing away. In the week they have been used they have done this job without issue. Impossible to judge on durability until springtime but they appear to be resilient. UPDATE 1 YEAR ON: These clips are still performing their job of holding down furniture covers to weights without any problems despite exposure to rain and snow. The paint has scratched on them where they have rubbed against the block paving where the covers have sagged, but still open/close without issue.

Great little things that can be used to hang or connect a couple of bottles, or small bags to a larger bag. Great for a bunch of keys as well. Come in vibrant colours that have lasted so far; the clip mechanism works well.
