~yipes! So scary!!! My precious beagle-child seemed to enjoy the chew... but later was quite lethargic. In the middle of the night; she woke and regurgitated and almost chocked on a large gummy ball. This happened twice all in about 12 hours after I gave her the chew! I don’t want to stir up trouble... but this could have been life-threatening! Please stay clear!🐾~

Purchased the apple-mint for large dogs. My dog raised her head up and came right over as soon as the bag was opened. They do smell faintly appley and minty, but that didn't phase my dog at all. She grabbed it out of my hand and carried it off to her bed to start chewing it up. She did have to do some chewing to get through it and it seemed to be doing a good job on her back teeth. Amazon asked me to rate the flavor, but I haven't tried one yet....just the dog. She seemed to like it.These are a great substitute for Greenies and a far better price and quantity. Plus, I was really impressed by the ingredients. Will buy again and again.

We wanted to try these because they are less expensive than the more popular brand of this type of chews. Unfortunately you get what you pay for ........ or maybe less than what you paid for because these are awful, and a complete waste of money! When you open them you get a very strong chemical smell: not mint and not apple, but something more along the lines of old toothpaste that you happen to find in the back of the cabinet. My dogs were hesitant to even take them because of the smell. One of my dogs carried it around with him for a little while and even tasted it, But then left it sitting on the floor for the next couple hours. In comparison they eat the large size of the more popular brand in minutes. I tried to get the dogs to try them a couple more times and they would not even touch them.Some people reading this might write it off by saying that our dogs are picky. While there is a possibility that label could be applied to my female dog who is selective in what she eats, my male dog eats anything! In fact this is the first thing that we have found that he will not eat since we’ve adopted him.If you can get your dog to eat these they are a great deal because they cost significantly less than the more popular brand of a similar size but for me it was a complete waste of money.

These made my dachshunds very very sick. They both vomited and one had diarrhea very bad. I’m calling the company but for now my advice is don’t buy these!! Very scary! My Buffee is still very ill. I’m taking her to the vet in the morning!

I'm giving these a reduced rating because neither of my dogs will chew on them, just left them lay on the floor for a month. Maybe larger dogs who tend to chew on anything (and I have one that will accept most chewies) will go for them, but it would nice if you could get just a sample pack.

Seriosuly...these state they are 'large'. No way!! They are small, really small. My dogs are use to Greenies but thought I would try these because they are cheaper. My one dog refuses to eat them! I've tried three times. My other dog atethem though. I will not buy again as they are so darn small and my one dog will not eat it. Flavor I suppose.

We just tried Smoochies for the first time and we're so glad we did. I have tried other dental chews & while my dog has enjoyed them all, these are the first that actually seemed to make a difference with his breath. My dog has an allergy to animal protein, so it makes it that much harder to find something that doesn't make him itch terribly. Definitely recommend these!

I've ordered another top brand for years. Dogs love them but they seem to eat them so quickly. An alternative for them showed up in the suggestions the last time I was placing an order and so I thought I'd give the 'Rachael Ray Nutrish Smoochies Brushes Natural Long Lasting Dog Dental Chews, Apple & Mint' a try. A bit cheaper than the ones that I usually order so what the heck ... might as well give them a try. I've waited several weeks to review these because my pups sometimes enjoy new introductions but then turn their finicky noses up a week or two later. Not this time! They love these and I seriously have to watch my fingers when I'm reaching out to give them to them. We're working on a few treat manners now 😉 These last much longer than the other brand and they seem to work a bit harder on them so I think their teeth are getting more of a workout.
