Wera upgraded the basic socket extension.
Wera just does it right. For a simple basic tool item, Wera goes the extra mile to build in useful features. The sleeve around the shaft makes for easy alignment and stabilizing while turning the ratchet. The locking feature for the sockets is amazing. Easily visible color coding to indicate locked status, easy enough to manipulate with gloves and a knurled connection end for hand turning. Simply a simple tool with added features and functions at an amazing price.
