Clifford the Firehouse Dog (Classic Storybook) Paperback – Picture Book, May 1, 2010

We got this for my toddler because he likes the original Clifford book. This one was a good choice because there are not too many words per page. There are some Clifford books that are too lengthy to hold his attention, but this one is a good balance.

I bought a bunch of Clifford for my kiddo, these are easy for him to read as well as a great story before bed time.

Clifford books in our house are an absolute naptime and bedtime staple. They consistently have good themes and great teachable lessons. The great thing about Clifford books is the length; it is easy to include these books as part of a routine because they only take about 3-5 minutes to complete so you can read multiple books. The price is right also. Two thumbs up for Clifford the Big Red Dog!!

Once again, Clifford saves the day, as my toddler grandson roots for him during his brave rescue efforts. "Read it again, read the book again," says my 3-year old grandson. A winner of a toddler book, the back page includes tips for what to do in case the house is on fire. My grandson also enjoys reviewing this portion with its "stop, drop and roll" reminder.

I purchased this book for the fire department I was with for use in the local schools that the firefighters visit regularly to teach fire, water and home safety. It is a great book for teaching young kids about safety. The kids enjoyed it and they retained a lot of the lessons.

as the title says, great clifford book, talks about if your clothes catch on fire how to stop drop and roll, you can read the book and discuss this with your kids. I'm a firefighter, so even more of a draw for me and my son....boys love those fire trucks :)
