Tips And Tools: The Art of Experiential Group Facilitation Paperback – October 1, 2007

I recent took a class with the author. The class was excellent! The book was a great read and nice to have to refer to. I highly recommend it.

This super useful book gives a perspective on teaching that helped me engage my students in a new way. It is full of helpful exercises and games that you can use right away in your classroom or in any educational environment!

This book was given to me as a gift from the company that built a portion of my adventure challenge course. After reading it, I realized what a gem it is. I now require all my new staff to read this book. Rather than being a list of activities (though, there are some great ideas), Tips and Tools focuses on the mindset of facilitation.I'll add that I don't know Jennifer Stanchfield or have any affiliation with the organizations she works with. My review of this book is as a challenge course manager who has benefited from her writing.

Practical ideas on enhancing the art of experiential education. I now have the second edition published in 2016 and recommend purchasing the newer edition that includes updates and more useful resources. I purchase it every year for training my team.
