Will this generator auto charge up a battery when it starts to get low?

Accepted Answer

No you should  run your generator  every  21 to 25 days and store it inside a garage.  Cold weather  can effect  such a small battery.  Let it run for 30 to 45 mins to recharge  the internal  battery.  You could also  buy a trickle  charger  for a small motorcycle  battery  size if you dont want to run your generator.  Just be creative  hook up your shop vac or air compressor  to fill up tires on your vehicles  or shop vacuum  the interior  while hooked up to your generator!

Is there aftermarket propane/ natural gas conversion kit for the 56380i generator? This generator exceeded all my expectations.

Why not run on 'eco' mode at all times as it responds to load including full load? What is the purpose of non-eco full load mode? Thanks

I own this 56380i WEN generator, although purchased directly from WEN.  Also own a Champion 1750/2500 watt lightweight generator.  I've found there is no limit to using Eco mode as long as you're running many smaller, independent loads that would add up to more than 75% power if all loads happened to run at once.  I believe the limit is really on running only one load of more than 75% power.  Then, the engine would have to jump all the way from idle to more than 75% in one step.  Non-Eco means that the engine is kept running at full RPMs even with no load applied.  The WEN 56380i is powerful enough that the 75% limit is only going to apply to construction equipment like a 1.5hp air compressor or a contractor sized circular saw.  A fridge compressor is only around 400 watts.  I can run my fridge easily in Eco mode even on my little 39 pound Champion generator.

How bad is this to lift into a pickup truck? By myself?

Senior Lady here, I carry around 50lb bags of animal feed without any problem, but this is heavy, I'm able to pull it around and up a ramp easily but I had to wait for my 2 daughters to lift it while I removed the shipping bolts underneath.
