Very Handy and Useful Hot Air Gun
This Hot Air Gun is very handy and easy to use. The listing description does not mention air temperatures, so I made measurements. I think this device was made primarily for use with the clear shrink wrap film (shown at the left in the first photo) that is often used to seal product packages. For that, it works very well. It might work well for the large, thin, colored heat shrink tubing made for wrapping battery pack assemblies. It also works nicely for small to medium diameters of electrical heat shrink tubing like the products made by Raychem, Sumitube, and others. I bought it specifically for that application. (Small dia is shown in the first photo.) You need to get fairly close to the tubing, within about 5 cm, but this is helpful, making it easy to control the shrink without overheating nearby parts. It will remelt hot melt glue if you get close enough for long enough. The nozzle is not made for use with a wrap-around heat deflector like the ones that sometimes come with heat guns specifically intended for heat shrink tube. The temperature profiles are shown in the photos (in °C) measured with a tiny thermocouple; 217° in the center and 38° near the nozzle edge at 3cm distance, and 101° at 10cm distance. This device is compact and lightweight, making it easy to fit in a tool kit. The internal heating coils glow faintly red in operation and the air flow volume is good. There is no cool down mode (fan on, heater off); it is all or none, but this seems to work fine with no risk of overheating. There is a cool air bypass that flows along the inside of the red nozzle shield to keep it cool during operation. This looks like a well designed product. Recommended.

Cheap and versatile
Not nearly as hot as my similarly priced HF heat gun, which is a good thing. In laymen temps, it's about as hot as a hairdryer when you cover the back fan with your hand. (Before it triggers the thermal safety shutdown. 😂) I think it could benefit from a smaller nozzle adapter, but it works well and the very hot center of the airflow is actually quite small, so small movements are enough to prevent burning, melting, etc. (Normal heat gun would require waving across the area, as opposed to small circles within the area.) Take the screw out of the cowling and twist until you can pull it off. The cowling locks on Ibuprofen bottle style without the screw and is easy to remove. Over 1 minute continuous I'd remove it unless you're really worried about hitting the tip on your work. It cools down much faster without it. Pro: Perfect for 3d printing (FDM cleanup, resin heating, FDM/SLA support removal), sticky stuff cleanup, heat shrink, paint/art projects, glue/cure Cheap Small Perfectly underpowered Con: This won't hot air solder. (Probably.) Not for high temp heat gun applications. (No peeling paint, etc.) Could use a few nozzle size/shape options No temp control

Great tool for watercolor
Works perfectly. I love that the cord is long and I don’t need to worry about having an outlet close. It heats up quickly. I’m using it for watercolor and if my painting is a bit too wet with pools of water, it will push those pools. However, in those cases, I just hold it further away.

Great price, good tool, loud fans
Not much to add beyond the title. The tool works well and the price is fantastic. The machine fans are loud. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase as the price is great and it works well for the limited time I use it. If I used it more often, is probably get a provider one that rooms quieter.

Great price, works fast, durable, safe and reliable.
This heat gun Rocks!!! Blows hot air fast and in an instant you have got your heat shrinks finished. I began a car audio upgrade a few months back and I wish I would've had this heat gun then. This cuts the time immensely when shrinking my electronic connection/connectors. Now I have a sense of security and safety with my amplifiers, line output converter, equalizer and speakers in my car. Makes my work look as professional as I would hope. It's about as loud as a hair dryer, so not too terribly noisy. It's light, durable, the price is was a lot less than I had expected to pay, $13.00 and shipping was on time, as usual.

Incorrect Cord length, it's 3ft.
Fake info, it only has 3 feet cord. Not 2 meters(6.56 feet), works fine.

Compact, Versatile, and Great for Art Projects
I really like this little heat gun! The long cord gives me plenty of flexibility, and it has a nice weight—light enough to handle easily, but sturdy enough to feel well-made. I use it mostly for drying watercolor and acrylic paintings, and it works perfectly. It's also great for melting crayons during wax art projects. My kids love using it for their own crafts too, and we've even found other uses around the house, like drying a shirt that got a bit of water on it. I appreciate the smaller profile compared to traditional heat guns—it takes up less space and is easier to store. The built-in stand is a great feature, keeping the hot tip safely off the table between uses. Highly recommend for anyone who does DIY or craft projects!

Works Great!
Arrived quickly. Tried it and it works great, perfect for drying watercolour. I'm so impatient and I don't do much layering because I don't have the patience. It's just a little hobby but I feel like I'll be able to do so much more now :) It's quieter than a hair dryer but not something I'd use in the living room with the family watching tv but I love it :)

Ok…
It works fine in an emergency, but it’s not very functional for making larger quantities.
