Deceptively Tagged Incorrect Sizing
UPDATE: I returned and reordered and my new pair were perfect.I usually love RYKAs and wear them exclusively to teach fitness classes in. I ordered these to replace a pair of the same style that has worn out.The good:They arrived super fast. The bad:The first thing I noticed was that there aren’t any toggles on the laces. Inconvenient, but not a big deal. I tried the first one on and it felt a little small. I figured it’s because I’m used to my old ones and these need to be broken in. I tried the second on and it felt even smaller. I took them off to check the size and noticed the tags look like they’d been applied twice. So I pulled off the top tag and discovered different sizing underneath. One was originally tagged as a 7.5 and the other a 7. I ordered 8.5. I’m not sure that those are even the correct sizes - they didn’t feel that small to me. Maybe an 8 and a 7.5. The packing invoice even lists them as two separate items, rather than a pair of shoes. Obviously, I’m returning them.

Good Shoe for Water Aerobics; Looking Forward to Getting LOTS of Wear out of Them!
The Ryka Women's Hydro Sport is a good shoe for my Water Aerobics Classes. I wanted a shoe that would last longer than my last shoe, which only lasted a year (3-4 hour classes/wk). Based on the reviews, I think this shoe will last longer than my last shoe, which did cost significantly less. I was disappointed that the shoe lace was a conventional non-elastic one. I would have had to bow it several times, and could not get the shoe as snug as I would have liked. I saw however, a review recommend "Lock Laces." I bought them here on Amazon, installed a black pair before wearing the shoes, and am so pleased now with the fit of my new Ryka's! They give me the support I need for water aerobics, and I love how they look! I am attaching a photo (WITH the LockLaces installed). I am taking one star off just because I had to go to the additional effort of buying and installing the laces.

comfortable, but get your true size
Update:I returned them and ordered another one in my true size. And they fit perfectly!!!Overall, the sneaker feels really comfortable. But based on reviews, I ordered 1/2 size up, which is too big. I'm returning and getting my true size.I'm assuming others felt it was too small because of their socks. But I bought this to wear on water hikes, and definitely don't want to go hiking with soaking socks; I think it defeats the whole purpose of having quick-dry sneakers. So if you plan to wear these without (thick) socks, get your usual size.

Comfortable, versatile shoes
I bough these for a trip to Hawaii, and now I wear them for any water activity or hike that might get wet. They’ve survived a 17-mile kayak trip, a muddy 8 mile hike with river crossings, swimming, beach days, etc. no blisters, even when my friends’ feet got destroyed in hiking sandals. I imagine they’d be great for theme parks with water rides. They’re easy to take on and off (even when wet), drain quickly, and dry off pretty fast if you take out the inserts.I’m a size 9, though I usually size up to 9.5 in sneakers. I bought these in a 9 and they were great with or without socks. 9.5 would prob have been fine too. Love them!

Great Support For Pool Workout!
This is the third pair of Ryka water shoes. These were just a little bigger than my last pair. The second pair I bought both shoes came unglued at the seams ☹️ Was disappointed I could not get a refund. These seem much better. The insert is a little heavier and the material seems heavier. I love the color and added Navy Lacelocks that are a must for water shoes. They do not slip in the pool. I have two knee replacements and a hip so these are very sturdy. If these hold up as well as my first pair, I got three years out off. I workout in the pool ave. 3 times a week so they get a lot of use. I have tried others but I think Rykas are the best. Just got one bad pair.

Great Aquatic Pool Shoes
Great Aquatic shoes. Love them in the pool. I had to change out the shoe strings they are too long and constantly comes untied no matter how many knots you tie in them. Changed shoes strings to the Sof Sole 27" - 45" No-Tie Laces. I used the shoe locks to hold them together...no more untied shoe strings flopping around my legs in the pool. Problem solved and the shoes fit much better. I have plantar fasciitis and a heel bone spur. These shoes give me that extra heel cushion that I need when performing water exercises and I do not have to use my orthotic inserts. Believe me after having left and right foot surgery I can testify that these shoes perform great. I would recommend them.

Great for the pool - not recommended for water shoes while hiking
I purchased these shoes for our honeymoon in Belize, which included a tour through a cave. I thought these would be a good option to tread through the river in the cave as well as climb up to the higher elevation shelf. If I had to make the choice again, I would have selected another shoe for the purpose I needed. Since the bottom on the shoe is open to allow for water to escape, it also allows for lots of little rocks and sand to creep in. This made for some uncomfortable walking during the tour and other hikes. However, since the trip I have used them in my pool to workout and like them for pool use. I am able to run in the pool without scraping my feet and they are helpful to keep balance when using weights in the pool. The fit is comfortable, but like other reviewers I have difficulties keeping the laces tied in the pool.Overall I like these shoes and will continue to use them in the pool, I just made a poor decision in using them for hiking/caving.

Comfortable Multi-Use Shoe
After reading previous posts that the shoe ran small I ordered a 1/2 size up. They fit very well, I probably could have ordered them in my regular size but didn't want to chance it. Most of the other reviews are mainly about use in aqua sports however, I bought them for my vacation to Costa Rica. I wore my Ryka's zip lining, horse back riding, and hiking & swimming through the waterfalls. They dried out very fast were light, comfortable and easy to wear in and out of the water. I can't wait to see how they work camping & fishing this summer and will update my post when I have used them more. I highly recommend these sneakers over any water shoe.

Fully recommend
I’ve had Ryka shoes before for teaching aquafit. These are so comfortable and well cushioned. I usually buy from Hydroactif, but they didn’t have my size and I was in desperate need of new ones. They last years, I teach minimum of 4 classes a week.

These are very comfortable and was well worth ordering them from the US ...
These are very comfortable and was well worth ordering them from the US as unfortunately, my size was not available in the UK. Loved the colour, plus my socks remained dry - even when standing on wet surfaces by the swimming pool. They arrived much earlier than the 'estimated arrival date' which was a pleasant surprise!

GO LARGE
I was warned - GO LARGE. So I did. bought a U.S. 12 . Had I bought my usual size, NO WAY would it have fitted, but I love them, such a shame nowhere in UK does them. As it is had to buy a 'spare' pair!!
