Does this work in italy?

How does the stainless steel compare to titanium or ceramic? Can you use as a curling wand?

My hair is thin, fine, and poker straight but it's healthy and doesn't break easily.  I've tried the ceramic and the curls fall out within an hour. I had this one in 3/4 inch (someone gave it to me) and thought I'd try it out this week.  I wondered if my curls always loosen, what would happen if I started with tighter curls?  I'm shocked that my curls have stayed all day with no products. All day tight curls! Mine is about 20 years old but since the barrel was so small, I thought the curls would be too tight so I never used it all these years! My 1 inch is another brand (also 20 years) and has worked best but doesn't hold a curl as well as this so I'm going to try the 1 inch version of this.  My hair needs really high heat to hold a curl and ceramic was worthless.  If you don't use the clip, you can use it like a wand.  You can either hold it open or try it closed the whole time.

Question 3

In order to use the dual voltage, is there a switch, or does it "automatically" work"  I understand I will need an adapter and have one of those!

Just took a look at my wife's...it worked great on 220 in Manila and equally well here in Illinois (they use the same configuration receptacle we use in the states)...I see no switch to adjust for input voltage so it apparently does it on its own.  Got her a 220 volt hair drier also...it did have a switch for 120/220 use.

I am just looking for a good curler just a normal and great working Condition so can i take this or not??

This one will give you cute loose curls, but I personally don't think it makes a difference and they'll just end up straight again pretty quickly. I recommend the 3/4 inch Conair curler. The curls look better and last longer!
