I purchased this to replace a bulb that was over 20 years old in a lamp I own. I was happy to be able to find a replacement for such an old bulb. I was worried the bulb type wouldn't still be available after such a long time. Anyhow, so far, so good...

Sunlite offers these four pin replacement bulbs in both cool white (6500K) and warm white (3000K). I find the cool white bulbs hard on my eyes for nighttime reading. While searching for a new bulb for my 15 year old floor lamp, I found Sunlite to be the ONLY brand to offer the warm white 3000K bulb in this style. The two pack was an EXCELLENT price. The light is definitely on the "yellow" side; but that's OK, that's what I was looking for! After seeing some reviewers state one or both of the bulbs don't work, I tried both. I tested each one for at least 24 hours, and they both work fine. Only time will tell if they actually last the 10000 hours advertised. The bulbs were nicely packaged, each in their own box with bubble wrapping, then the two boxes were secured together with more bubble wrap. They arrived safe and sound. I am quite pleased with this purchase. Thank you Sunlite!

Issue with fitment for FML-27 57228 27W desk lamp, the 'lugs' on each side seem to be a bit larger thus causing fitment issue. Had to use a dremel tool to grind off the lug and it fit okay.

Needed replacement bulb for my Lights of America Sunlamp. This Sunlite bulb fits perfectly and light output is perfect for my sewing table.

I did not check the correct box. This was warm white. I need the bright white. I will be returning these. Nothing wrong with these, just not bright enough.

They're the wrong base for my Verilux desk lamps. How do I say it? One base is an oval with tabs on either side that help to guide and seat the bulb into the socket. The bulbs I received are what I can only describe as a split oval in shape with tabs on either side that sit flush with the bottom edge of the base of the bulb. Getting "warm white" instead of that "full spectrum" whiter light bulbs is a bit challenging. Bulbs didn't fit. So, I carefully, craftily, and patiently filed down the plastic tabs with some sandpaper and a mill file.... and they fit and worked like a charm. Fit! Worked! Warm fluorescent bulbs for my old Verilux lamps, in spite of the tedious detail of the different base, though identical, regarding the overall shape and the "4-pin" pins.

Needed one for my lamp by my couch and I have a back up as well. They last forever. The one that came with my lamp lasted years. Good price and fast shipping. Hope I don't forget where my spare is since they last so long.

The light is really yellow.
