These work fantastically! The water tastes so much better than regular filtered water, and the charcoal sticks are easy to use, plus they look so much better than the plastic filters. Also, these are so much better than the plastic versions, last longer, make the water taste better, and look so much better in the water pitcher.

Have only been using these filter sticks for a month but am happy so far. Bought these as an alternative to expensive pitcher filters, which worked fine.... but the cost! I believe it said it would filter 2 qts in 3-4 hrs but I find that our water needs at least 5 hrs to filter to the taste we prefer. To be honest I was skeptical about these but am glad I decided to take a chance and try them. Would definitely recommend.

I would not agree with reviewers who claim the water tastes amazing. It tastes like water with the heavy minerals from the tap filtered out. One of the two logs severed in a 90-10 split, immediately, but I do not think this is a failure of the product. My 2L vessel has an undulating design, and it caused an impact. Just be careful with them to avoid damaging the integrity of the structure. Product provides valuable utility.

My water tastes better with these in it. I put one stick in a 2 liter glass bottle of tap water and wait 4 hours for the water to filter. I use 2 glass bottles and 2 sticks and alternate use. I used to use Zero water pitchers but I want to avoid microplastics, if possible, which is why I made this change. Boiling the stick for 10 minutes every 2 weeks refreshes it for another use, and is not too much of a pain if you do it while you're cooking or doing other stuff around the kitchen.

These simple charcoal water filters are easy to use. Put in your water and each removes absorbs impurities. Every other week boil the filter. I use one in my Brida water in the fridge; I use the other in my teapot. I exchange every other week.

I order these every 6 months through Subscribe & Save to put in my water pitcher I fill from the tap. I keep the pitcher in the door of my fridge and let it steep over night and the water tastes much better. Been using them fr a few years now.

I would have given this more stars except the water doesn’t always taste good. I’ve used this for about a week. I fill up a 4 L pitcher with tapwater and put two of the sticks in. I find that leaving it overnight works best. When I pour a glass of water in the morning, there’s zero taste of tapwater and it’s excellent. However, if I don’t finish the full glass of water and leave it out for a few hours, then the icky taste of tapwater comes back. I have no idea why that is. I don’t have that phenomena happen with bottled water.

As per title. This is in contrast to some I got locally (albeit a bit more expensive) that are still going strong even six months later, with the occasional boil to release the collected minerals.

This is the best sustainable option for water filtration at home when you can’t afford a full system upgrade. Especially for renters. My water tastes 10 X better than it ever has with a Britta filter. There’s absolutely no plastic involved, which is key for our liquid storage. I’m really impressed with the size of the sticks for a 2 L jug of water. It’s the perfect size. A little bit expensive for the quantity but worth it when you consider how much the Brita filter replacements cost with the added cost of our health due to micro plastics absorption.
