Hydro Grip Primer with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide – Hydrating Face Primer Grips Makeup for Up to 12 Hours – Silicone-Free, Lightweight Gel with Dewy Finish

I have been using the Milk Hydro Grip Primer for years and recently picked up another one when I saw an Amazon Prime Black Friday deal that was slightly cheaper than Sephora’s sale. This primer contains hyaluronic acid, which makes it very hydrating and comfortable on the skin. I have sensitive skin and have never experienced irritation or breakouts from this product. One thing worth noting is that the primer feels quite tacky when first applied. While this may not be everyone’s preference, I actually appreciate it because my foundation adheres extremely well and lasts longer throughout the day. Once powder is applied, the sticky feeling completely goes away, so it is not an ongoing issue. This primer is on the pricier side, but for me it is worth it since it consistently performs well and works with my sensitive skin. A small amount goes a long way, which helps justify the cost. Overall, this is a dependable, hydrating primer that delivers excellent makeup grip, and I will continue to repurchase it.

I have never had a primer that works as well as this one. My makeup stays in place all day, doesn’t smudge and I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse. This will be a forever purchase of mine!

I'm a fan of the FLOWERKNOWS Little Angel Dewy Hydrating primer. This was recommended as a dupe for it. I don't think it's the same to be honest, but this is still a good primer. It makes my makeup application very smooth and look better. The size is BIG though, you will be using this for a long time and it's not very travel friendly FYI. I'm still on the hunt for a good dupe of my fave primer but I may just break down and purchase it specifically at this point lol.

I just started using the Milk hydrogrip primer. I like that it has niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and is silicone free. I have fairly sensitive skin, and this went on smoothly, it absorbed really quickly, felt nice going on, and caused no irritation. I didnt have the tacky feel that some other reviewers have experienced, maybe my skin was more dry when I put it on. I used it with NARS light reflecting primer, and it went on pretty smoothly over the primer. It def held my makeup all day and I saw a difference. I'm not sure that it truly helped hydrate as much as I hoped it would - I noticed in the afternoon the makeup around my mouth and nose was a little more flaky and dry. I suspect that has more to do with my moisture barrier and the hydration of my skin than the fault of this primer - I think it might have just made it more noticeable. The product is fairly pricy, but a little goes a long way. It works well, but I don't think it added a lot more hydration that I was hoping for.

I’m so happy I finally found something that works! I’m an ED nurse so I sweat a lot at work and my make-up, though high-end, still sweats completely off. Until I bought this primer. It actually keeps my make up in place for up to 15 hours so far. I’m so impressed and will never need anything different.

I really love this primer when doing my full face makeup ! It does exactly what it’s intended to do & some of the best primer I’ve used . I’ve had it in my cart for quite some time as an item I wanted to try & I was finally able to try it when it went on sale & I wasn’t disappointed ! I had gotten the eye primer & loved it, so I figured the makeup primer was probably just as good ! It is comparable to Elf Power Grip Primer which is my usual primer, but like I said, I got this on sale & had been wanting to try it, so I did . I probably wouldn’t purchase it again unless it was on sale since it is expensive at full price, but if money isn’t an issue then I’d say it’s 100% worth it ! But if you’re looking for a more affordable option, of course the OG Elf Power Grip is the way to go ! I am including pictures of my makeup I did using the Milk Primer for reference 😊

Me encanta este primer, es original y lo conseguí a buen precio por Amazon. Cuida muy bien la piel. Me decidí por este y no dupes porque tengo acné en la cara y realmente al usar este primer y todo el maquillaje adicional no se me brota más, y consigo que el maquillaje me dure todo el día incluso sin fijador.

Amazing primer! Lasts you forever! But if you want something cheaper, buy elf primer (blue one). It's as sticky as this one. But still, I think this one is better 😉. Elf is good dupe though.

Makes your skin feel nice and not sticky like some primers can well worth the money and a little goes a long way.
