We have the 8 oz container but bought this one for variety. It is much better for packing pasta and other non-liquid hot foods. It will keep food hot/warm for several hours if heated properly. I once opened the container after eight hours and the contents were still very warm.

I bought this for my daughter to take dinner to school with her on days when she has late practice. I pack her dinner at 7:00 a.m. and it is still warm at 6:00 p.m. In the test I did, the food was still at 150 degrees after 12 1/2 hours.To get best results, fill the thermos with boiling water and let it sit for 15 minutes before dumping the water and filling with food. I've been sending food that has a high liquid content (soup, chili), so I don't know how solid food would fair. My daughter is quite happy with the her dinners, so I feel like this was an excellent purchase.

My daughter loves this thermos! It keeps her lunch warm for the five hours between leaving for school and lunchtime. We bought this to replace a Thermos brand food jar that had the worst odor from the plastic inside the lid. This food jar doesn't have any plastic that touches the food and the gasket is easy to remove and clean.

I’m so happy with this purchase! It’s the perfect size for my daughter’s lunchbox, is definitely leak-proof, and keeps her food piping hot until lunch time! I also love that is had a wide mouth so she can easily eat from the container. I always pour boiling water into the container, close the lid, and let it set while I’m prepping her lunch. It primes the container so that it keeps the food hotter for longer. I’ve packed everything from mac n’ cheese, to chili, and even chicken noodle soup in here without a single leak, even though the container is on its side most of the day. I’d also like to mention that while the contents inside are literally boiling hot, the outside is still cool to the touch. Very neat and a good investment so far!

Daughter takes this to lunch on a regular basis and her soup or taco meat or whatever I've put in it is warm by 12pm lunch, 4 hours after I've packed it. A must have for those days where school lunch isn't all that appealing;)

I ordered 2 of the 12oz and loved them! We have been using them for months now and it does commit to keeping our food hot for hours. My husband even forgot his lunch only to discover that it was still hot during supper. Definitely recommended. I have bee looking for a thermal food container with a metal cover and these did not disappoint, although a bit pricey. I will order again should their 16oz be shipping to Singapore. It would also be awesome of they sell parts.

Love this thermos. I have a couple of this size and a couple larger ones. Best feature-it's dishwasher safe. Seal removes easily for thorough cleaning and no plastic touches your food. Worst feature-it can 'over seal' when putting super hot food in and makes it difficult to open. It might be nice if the lid and jar were a little more 'grippy' for opening. Overall a great container

Perfect for taking food like pasta to school.My 9 year old finds it easy to open and close and said it isn't too deap so she doesn't get her hands covered in sauce unlike other food flasks we have tried. and said her food was as hot as it is at home.I make sure to pre heat the flask with boiling water for 5mins whilst I heat up the food and she loved adding stickers to it.

This is a very good quality flask, keep the warm till lunch time for little one.

I bought this item as a gift and it is exactly what I wanted, but as such I cannot comment on the use; if it really doesn't leak though I'll be very impressed!

At last a container that doesn't leak! And my son says it's warm enough at lunchtime. Perfect size for stews, soups, pasta. Very happy with it.

I'd been looking at these thermal containers for months, and finally bought them in December. Took them out during the Holidays for a ski trip, and the kids were more excited about these as they'd been about the Santa's gifts!They are the perfect size for kids' lunches.They look nice, and they work perfectly.I'm also really happy that all parts touching warm food is stainless steal.Really happy about my choice!I feel that they will last a long time, which meets my ecological standards.

Ich hab für den Kindergarten einen Behälter gebraucht, der das Essen warm hält, bis die Kids mittags essen.Ich hatte einen anderen von einer anderen Firma, hat leider nix getaugt. Dann habe ich diesen hier bestellt und er hat die bewährte Lunchbots Qualität. Wenn ich morgens das heisse Essen um 6.30 Uhr abfülle, dampft es noch, wenn meine Tochter den Thermobehälter um 12.30 öffnet. Sie muss dann erstmal pusten, bis sie essen kann.Auch lässt er sich problemlos in der Spülmaschine reinigen. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!!

The stainless steel cap actually is very good and unique in this alone. It is very easy for my toddler to eat her hot lunch in it. It would be good to have a wider mouth rather than tall model. That is why reduced one star.

Keep food hot for over four hours. It also comes in different sizes. The one I ordered is a 12 oz and it's not bad I am also planning to buy the size above for work because I know my lunch will stay hot until i am ready to eat

Good quality and Easy to wash. I use them to pack my kids lunches all the time. My kids love them.

Après essai :Facile d'utilisation : mettre de l'eau bouillante dans le pot pendant 10 minutes puis la vider et remplir avec un plat chaud.Conserve bien un plat au chaud pendant 4 heures (sous réserve de bien remplir la boite).La contenance convient pour un plat principal (utilisé pour un collégien).Double paroi donc on ne se brûle pas, la boite est à peine tiède à l'extérieur.
