I really didn't mind the smell (although it does have a really strong rubber smell), and it also didn't stay put very well and had some flaws in three of the corners, but the fact that it did not lay flat was the main reason I am not happy with it. It was rolled up for shipping and has not recovered. I tried everything, i.e., reversing it and putting it in the sun, but it still won't lay flat making it a trip hazard. I read another review stating the same thing and I probably should have paid attention to it before ordering.

This is a beautifully made mat--perfect size for my side door. The pattern/color choices make it look like part of the room, rather than just a "wipe your feet" addition. Heavy-weight rubber keeps it from slipping and curling. I deliberately waited 6 weeks before reviewing because so many times it takes a while to see whether a product lives up to the description. It certainly has! Seller sent a follow-up email which was very informative. Thank you.

I loved this product. It stayed in place, it trapped dirt and grime that would have otherwise made it into my trailer while we were camping. I thought this was the best trailer mat ever until I lifted the mat to clean my floors. I discovered that there was a chemical reaction to my floors and now my floors in my trailer are ruined. RUINED!!! It is a chemical stain and I have tried EVERYTHING to remove it to no avail. My trailer is brand new so to say I am upset is the understatement of the year.

I bought this doormat and placed it at my front door a week ago only to discover that it became a puddle of water after a rainy night!! This doormat does not drain water which I completely don't understand. It's suppose to be for outdoor use. I will never buy it again and do't recommend it for anybody for the outdoor use. I need to buy a new doormat.It also didn't get flat after rolling it out...even after a week at my front door one side was still not flat!

I have 3 dogs, with a big yard and a dirt driveway. It also rains a lot here... my tile floors are always covered in dirt. Other floormats I've used either don't trap the sand/dirt, or the dogs just leap over them as they sprint inside. My floors have been a million times cleaner since getting this rug, I got one of the wider ones and turned it so it's more like a runner. One of the dogs pooped on it this morning (gross), but I was able to easily spray it with the hose and let it dry on the patio.As other reviewers have mentioned, it does have a strong rubber smell at first, but I think that's normal and it didn't really bother me. You could leave it outside for a day or two first.Even though it was rolled up for shipping, it laid perfectly flat when I opened it up.

Great rug if you have an old dog. My old senile dog pees by the door on occasion. I got this rug for the rubber backing. It grips to the wood floor perfect and a breeze to hose off with garden hose, scrub up with detergent and a plastic scrub brush and let dry in the sun. Cleaned up real well and didn't fade or anything. I'm really pleased with this rug.

I failed to read all of the previous buyers comments, before I ordered two mats. I had considered using these mats on the floor of my boats engine room. Up receipt of the Gorilla mats, I could not help but noticing their stench. I left both mats outdoors for a full day. No change. I returned both mats. These mats emit a terrible odor, so much so that I feel they are a health hazard, especially for my intended use.

I got this for a step going from my garage into the house. I needed something that would trap the dirt and not slip on the step. This rug works perfectly and has not moved around at all. Very nice quality construction. Note: the first one I bought had a flaw in the weave, but had no problem returning it for a replacement and got the new one in just two days. Perfect for what I wanted.

De muy buena calidad y muy buen diseño. Llegó enrollado y de inmediato se a plano al colocarlo en su lugar. Es grueso, se adhiere muy bien al piso, de hecho tengo el inconveniente de tener que moverlo al cerrar la puerta, ya que mi puerta trae una protección extra que la pega completamente al piso y no hay forma que el tapete pueda caber bajo la puerta, así que al movilizarlo le tengo que poner cierto empeño para hacerlo, ya que no se mueve tan fácil con solo empujarlo con el pie, espero que así siga con el paso del tiempo. Si atrapa muy bien el polvo y restos extras, por lo que para mantenerlo limpio si hay que darle mantenimiento constante y aspirarlo. Definitivamente es para interiores por el tipo de tela de polipropileno, que seguramente si se coloca en exterior y llueve costará trabajo secarlo. Le da ese toque extra a la entrada de tu casa. Las medidas tal cual lo anuncian y el diseño es como lo muestra la imagen. Lo recomiendo mucho, parece y espero que dure.

We bought this for the entrances at our home and our cottage. They trap the dirt at the door and are easy to clean we love them. This company also stands behind what they sell we had a small issue and the company made things right in less than 12 hours. Highly recommend this company and will be ordering additional mats.

Pensé que era más pesado y grueso, pero está bien es un tapete normal de entrada, el diseño es lindo y podría decir que hasta un poco suave al pisarlo sin zapatos, se limpia fácil con la escoba. Buscaba algo liso para que mi cachorro no lo mordiera y si tiene como tela, espero que no lo vaya a deshilar porque está muy lindo. Lo mandan en una caja pequeña no estirado, sino como rollo y tarda en aplanarse unos días, tal vez sería mejor que lo pusieran extendido en el envío.

Es tipo estambre grueso que se ve que durará bastante, el dibujo es un sellado de plástico. El color me encantó. Base de plástico grueso, no se derrapa y tomó forma plana rapidísmo (viene enrollado). Tamaño ideal para puerta estándar de una sola hoja.

Not for heavy traffic, only very light traffic. Mine has shown a lot of wear after just 2 weeks, fuszy stringy pieces all over. Maybe it was a defective runner?
