NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Pore Filler Blurring Primer, Vegan Face Primer

This primer is best on dry skin types if you use an oily base before you apply it. I use vegetable oil and dab most of it dry, but enough to leave my skin moist and the pole filler works great. If I don't use the oil first it is too dry for my skin. I love this product. I would imagine it would work well with oily skin without any added moisturizer.

I am a 39 year old male who uses this on their nose every morning after a shower. The reason why I wanted to try this out was to see how much it could help with “closing” pours and preventing breakouts. I do not use any other “acne” product. As a teenager and even through my 30s, I have struggled with random nose/bridge breakouts despite adhering to a $200+ skin routine.I have been using this product every day for for over two years now, and I have found this helps with the following:1) hides the imperfections and levels out your skin evenly on your nose without leaving a greasy or caked feel - such a game changer with this “even” look - important to me as a guy and gives you confidence over teenage acne pitting. I’ve been told my skin has a glow - like as if you take care of yourself!2) most definitely prevents your pores from becoming clogged or inflamed. If you are used to experiencing a breakout or so about once a month like I did, this will cut that down to 1-2 smaller breakouts for your entire year. Incredible trade-off.3) product lasts round 10-12 months if you are using it every day (you don’t need a lot to achieve the desired results). Tip - go easy on the bottle when squeezing out as the product can kind of pop out faster than you would want it to - to avoid this, I just keep my finger close to the applicator end so that when the product releases, it goes on my finger and not in my sink and down the drain!It is hard to believe I haven’t been using this product all my life, as it could have saved me so much time and heartache over red splotchy terribleness through my late twenties/early thirties.I am sure this works just fine for the ladies, but for men out there needing something discreet, clean and easy to use, do yourself a favor and get this. This is a Great dupe for Benefit Porefessional primer! I have used the Benefit primer for years but it is way too expensive and they changed the formula. The NYX primer works just as well and it is much more affordable. However, it Spits out of the tube Everywhere every time I use it and wastes a lot of product. There is too much air in the tube or something. Anyway, it is a great product. Smooths fine lines and minimizes pores well. It is a new staple for me.

I have been purchasing this for several years. It is clumpy and dry but always gave a good base to prime for my foundation or powder. However, the last tube I purchased was mostly filled with air. I could literally press the tube and nothing comes out unless I squeeze it all the way up. So basically no product inside. It is not cheap so I was definitely ripped off.Update: Still by far the best pore filler out there. I have tried many. I tried so many others because I was bothered that you get so little product in the tube now and I like to use it everyday because it completely Smooths out my skin and keeps my makeup looking fresh all day. But nothing has compared to it. I tend to have oily skin and this mattifies it and evens out my skin so beautifully. I just wish they gave you more product and that it didn't come out in little clumps.

As soon as you start to read the reviews for this product, change the way they show you the reviews from "Top-Rated" to "Most Recent". If you don't, the first comments are from 2018 - a time when this product was the bomb-diggity! Unfortunately, the product has gone downhill. And I mean WAY downhill...So, I purchased this product in July of 2019. It was flawless in every way known! I loved this stuff and shared it with my daughter's teenage friends. I used this miracle powdery substance every day! And eventually, I ran out. So, I purchased more in July of 2021 and I was excited to use it again. I really loved this stuff!It arrived in the mail and I opened it up and went straight to the mirror to put this glorious product on my face. I squeezed the tube and nothing came out at first so I shook it up. I tried again and it kinda 'coughed' out some of whatever was in this tube and it was a mess in my hand, like an explosion of soft dirt. I was perplexed so I tried it again and well... not only was it all over my hands, it was on my mirror, my makeup table, my shirt, my hair, on the floor, and even some on my dog! I was like - ok, this is a messed up order. Always giving the benefit of the doubt, I order more. Well, nothing changed and I have no idea what happened to the previous product but this ain't it!!I feel like they put out this fantastic product and when it became popular, they trimmed their ingredients list down to get a higher return. The ole bait and switch routine. I see all the other comments and they are just like mine with the same experience. I purchased the last container in September of 2021 so now that it is May of 2022, I feel they have had ample time to fix this issue. I will not purchase it again, ever.

Not as clarifying as I expected. I needed to add makeup to it for it to look ok. Small tube !

I got this to try on my pitted acne scars. The first few times I put it on, I wasn't at all happy. But then I got it down. It just took me a few times to figure out how I need to put it on. It does take a lot for me to do both my cheeks that are scarred. But it is definitely worth it! It's a tiny bottle for the price though. But still, I'll keep buying it. It didn't completely get rid of the scars but it definitely made them look smoother. I'm very happy with the results. What I did was put some on, the turned a cool blow dryer on my face to dry it, and then put another layer on and dried that too. It takes a while to dry, and you feel like it'll easily rub off. But it has stayed on now for a few hours. I didn't need to put foundation over it, it covered pretty good. I just used NYX translucent powder, using a fluffy brush VERY LIGHTLY dusting over it so not to disturb it while it wasn't dried yet. What I love most about it is that unlike concealer or foundation, it doesn't settle into lines and doesn't look caked at all (I'm 47). That's why I decided not to put my foundation over it. It stayed looking nice. I'll try to come back and add before/after pictures when I have time. Just remember if you don't like it at first, don't give up on it. Keep trying ways to put it on. I have to put a lot, like I said, and just very lightly pat it with my finger. It smooths out and blends almost naturally.

I could not live without this product!! I use it to fill it large pores, ice pick and other scars. I use the tiniest flat brush available. After primer, makeup, setting powder and setting spray, I fill in the holes with this product using a brush. Once done, i apply second coat of setting spray. This product allows me to feel more confident. There is absolutely nothing like it!! See the drastic before and after.I attached a pic of the brushes I use for reference as well. The red brush is actually a paint brush I got at Michael's. The white one is the ELF precision concealer brush.

Davvero un prodotto ottimo: consistenza impalpabile e piacevole, effetto matte a lunga durata, prezzo competitivo. Lo trovo un po' difficile a volte da estrarre dal tubetto, soprattutto quando non è più pienissimo, perché bisogna agitarlo molto e spremerlo bene, ma considerata la qualità e l'effetto continuo ad acquistarlo.

I have really deep pores on my face due to acne scars, so I've tried a loooot of pore fillers, and this is the best one! I've been using this particular brand for well over a year. The one thing to know about this stuff is that a little goes a long way. Yes, if you've put on too much, it mixes with your foundation/concealer/whatever and lifts up into little bits. BUT, if you use the right amount, you'll have no issues. There's really no scent, and it's a bit thicker which is perfect for filling my deep pores. Highly recommend! Also, much cheaper on Amazon than it is in Shoppers lol
