Nice battery at a decent price
I modified my Pedego tandem bike to use this battery. Pedego wants 1000 bucks for a 15AH battery and this 20AH battery gives me 33% more range for 540 bucks. Additionally, we can use both batteries and extend our range to about 80 miles. I did not use the rack that came with the Joyisi, I just drilled some holes and attached the mounting plate for the Joyisi to the back carrier of the Pedego. I also had to do some wiring but it's just two wires. Only one battery is connected at any given time so when one is running low we just switch to the other..The battery works great so far but we have only used it 5 times. We got over 45 miles with some left to spare and this is on a tandem that weighs 95 lbs with both batteries and me and my wife at 160lbs and 110lbs. So it's 365 total pounds and we have hills. We assist with a moderate amount of pedaling.Another add-on was to add a little meter (it's on Amazon) so we could see how much battery is left. The Joyisi has some LEDs for this but they only give you increments of 25%. Looking at LEDs you don't know if you have 51% left or 25% left so it's pretty coarse. I just soldered an RCA plug (same as the one on the charger) to the meter and I plug it in to one of the Joyisi charging ports. It reads out in % or in volts and it works well. Joyisi should sell one as an accessory.

High quality unit, excellent customer support.
I already had dual batteries, with the second battery hidden in my rack bag. However, this meant I had little storage space left in the bag because it was full of battery. With this product, I can have the second battery, and have the full use of my rack and rack bag. The battery itself performs well, and gives me over 70 miles range when paired with my frame battery. The aluminum case is very strong and should last for years, but is also very heavy. The end caps are VERY thick plastic and fit precisely. The rear tail light is convenient, but is not very bright. A nice feature is that the taillight will come back on automatically if it was on when the battery was turned off. There are two charging ports, with one in front and one in back, and you can use either one. There is no USB port. The battery performs flawlessly and the charger is a nice unit with a cooling fan. I have no complaints about the battery operation, but I do wish it was not excessively heavy. One of the best things about this product is the company and support behind it. My battery had a small issue which did not prevent operation, and the company sent the part out as soon as possible. From my experience with them, the company has been very sincere and honorable, and I would not hesitate to buy from them again and again.

Good battery but required rack in order to use it makes using the bike terrible
The media could not be loaded. This is an edit to the review, they sent me a replacement. I'm going to install it today, and I'm going to be able to use the bike again. I'm going to hope things go well this time keep in mind that this positive review is all due to great customer service because they went out of their way to fix the situation. But I still have to say, that this has me worried. I hope it doesn't fall apart as fast as the last one.Photo from june 2021Video is from July 2021This review is delayed due to complications with customer service resolutions. Speaking of customer service, they have been great and the battery itself is fine. The problem comes from a part that is required to use this battery. And it's a problem I don't think can be fixed at all.The issue is the terrible rack it comes with and is required to install the battery in made of cheap material and it's build quality just makes it unusable unless you commute on a whole trail made as smooth as glass The bike rack required is made af a weak metal like magnesium or something light and fragile. And it can't handle normal bumps that riding on even a sidewalk is too rough. It fell apart in less then 1 month of installation and I'm mostly os asfalt and sidewalks and it can't handle its own weight.

Great battery, measured 22AH
Finally got my 20AH 52V battery and I'm delighted. Same build quality as the 48V unit I bought, just one more battery in the box to get 52V. With the included 3amp charger the battery starts at 56v and is above 50V for most of it's state of charge. Best of all when I test it with my amp hour meter I got 22AH on a full charge on a 400 to 14000 watt profile on my test stand. Output connector can handle the current and the output wire was approx 10gauge tinned fine wire with a nice silicon jacket.Key locks the battery to the plate, and turns the juice on and off to the output port....icons are in Chinese...The extra 4 volts will make you go 8% faster or give you more torque at lower speeds. I got 1.1KWH out of it when I stopped my testing at 45Volts. (specs say you can discharge down to 42volts)I didn't need the rack, so I sent a message to Joysi and we worked out a discount. Nice people, the person that responded to my email clearly mastered the english language so no problems with communication.Custom build and delivery took 15 days till Fed-Ex showed up, hard to beat that coming from China. Now Grandpa has a hot battery for when he wants to drive the Go Kart he made the grandkid ... and gramps has the bluetooth app on his phone to turn the motor controllers wide open ..

CHEAP FLIMSY RACKS
Great customer service cannot make up for a lousy product from the point of fabrication.1. batteries are NOT listed as water proof and the fact that you MUST ride with key inserted at all times "like a car" is a horrible design flaw2. the massive Anderson plugs are not water tight and can easily be corroded3. THE RACK SUCK. Cheap tubing means 100% failure rate. I am not kidding when i say every rack broke including the replacements because they cannot take the pressure of a 20lb battery over time. They all snap in the same exact spot suggesting they really didnt think this through at the point of fabrication.the customer service has always been responsive but what good is sending replacement racks that ultimately fail?with out the racks, these batteries are almost impossible to carry comfortably and safely. I seriously regret spending 1500 on three of these.
