Great Removable Strength Retainer
Excellent for the purposes stated in the datasheet. I use it for retaining small bearings (sub 12mm ID) in model aircraft, as well as larger setups such as an FSAE car. 641 works great for it's intended purpose, that is, a retainer than you can pop off without getting violent with heat and pressure that still holds. For those of you with model helis, this stuff is pretty slick for locking torque tube bearings in place. It's not super thin, so the risk of wicking into bearings is a bit lower. For those of you with Align helis, make sure to scrape the paint off. Loctite requires two metals in contact to work fully.

Very happy with this
I bought this to use on the bearings of a front loading washing machine, to prevent the large rear bearing from loosening and spinning. It will allow me to remove and replace that bearing if ever needed again. If I had used a high strength Loctite, I would never get that bearing out without damaging the shaft. This works great for special applications like this, whereas other locking compoundswould grab to tight.

Loctite 641
FSA bicycle company suggests using this Loctite 641 on the bottom bracket spindle (axle) and the splined area inside the left crank arm. Purpose is to keep the bottom bracket secure.Applied this to my crankarm a few hundred miles ago, and it is working. The only disadvantage to the Loctite 641 is the cost. It is an expensive item.Much like other Loctite compounds, I will say this, the product DOES DO what the intention is.

Worked as promised
I used this yellow Loctite when replacing my BB30 Press Fit bottom braket on my Specialized mountain bike. I read through the Loctitie tech docs and this was the one recommended for plastic on plastic or carbon. It basically fills the gaps between the bearing and the BB shell, keeping everything nice a quite.

The product does exactly what its supposed to do. I had to purchase a separate primer (loctite 7649) because the metals I am bonding are inert so make sure to research before you purchase to save yourself some shipping fees.

Seems to do what it needs to do.
Used this along with Loctite 7649 to install a new bottom bracket into my aluminum bike frame. So far, so good--I'll edit the review if my opinion changes.

So far so good. Used it on my road bikes BB86 bottom bracket that creaked during torque. So far so good and quiet. Let's see how long it keeps the creaking away.
