I bought this for shibari purposes (people-on-people bondage) and I was really looking for something a little more consistent, but I'll still use it. It varies from about 4.5 mils (or even 5 mils in some pleaces) to 2.5 mils, so some sections are thin enough that I worry about safety factors. There ARE splicings on these, occassionally very large splicings, and one large enough that I had to cut it out. Instead of having 6 25ft pieces, I ended up with 5 of them and two shorter pieces that I'll use when I need a little more length on a tie.Otherwise, I'm very happy with it. It's scratchy, but still pleasant. The thing came in one big 150ft length that was bundled into three hanks. Just cut the rope between the bundles to fully separate them into three hanks or don't cut if you want a piece longer than 50ft.

Beautiful rope but too stiff to be useful

Stuff is great very strong rope and the hops LOVE twisting up this towards the sun.

My Cascades and Chinooks are already zipping up this rope. Pre-measured lengths made it easy to cut to size with no waste. Way thicker and stronger than twine. Arrived quickly and in good shape.
