Very effective multi floor cleaner. Recommended.
I purchased this cleaner from Amazon last week saving myself £80 over Rug Doctor pricing on their site. I've used it on both hard sealed wooden floors and carpets and I'm impressed with how well it cleans. The machine at 9.45kg is light enough to be maneuverable although I think a fixed handle would make this more so. Build quality looks fantastic and what I particularly like is that every component on the machine is labelled making set up quick & easy. The transition from using the hard floor nozzle to carpet nozzle is straightforward. The clean water canister holds enough water to clean our stairs. or one room in our house. Emptying the dirty water canister is easy and re-fitting it is also easy as instructions are labelled on the canister. The upholstery nozzle is a useful tool and the machine comes with a small bottle of cleaning fluid. When using on carpets, the cleaner is very effective at removing dirt and does not leave them soaking either. Ours were fully dry within a couple of hours which is pretty good. Overall I'm very happy with the Flexclean cleaner and for what I paid on Amazon, think it is extremely good value. Highly recommend if you want a cleaner that cleans both carpets and hard floors & don't want to have 2 separate cleaning machines.

Rug Doctor - FlexClean
Top quality product - Very happy with the purchase - Having read all the reviews of this Companies products vs the other leading carpet/flooring cleaning machines I was left with somewhat conflicting views as to which one to buy. According to reviews it would appear that Vax machines were once very good but they now seem to have a quality control problem with the water storage tanks which then (sometimes) leak undiluted detergent onto the floorings staining them, also they have been known on a number of occasions to send out returned/faulty machines and pass them off as new. Bissell's plastics for their handles and shafts are poorer quality and break/snap off, this is the same for some Rug Doctor's products, also the manoeuvrability has been questioned on Rug Doctor machines. I purchased the RD FlexClean 1093392. At approx. £300 it is slightly more expensive than its competitors but having checked the products that hire companies use (RD & Truvox Products) I thought they would naturally choose the better machines. In my opinion they are right, I am extremely happy with the RD FlexClean, read the instructions thoroughly and you can't go wrong. Granted, the machine is quiet large and fairly heavy however it does have 4 wheels and a multi-position handle that makes it easier to move. I found that I needed to refill the machine once with water/detergent on my larger rooms (3.7L Capacity). For me the drying times were quite quick, I would wash the rugs/carpets early morning (8am ish) and by 2-3pm they were dry again. Top Pro: - Cleans carpets very well - Even some really old carpets came up very nicely Top Con (Only Con): - Manoeuvrability, okay for me to use (middle aged male) but not a product for my mum (OAP)

Fabulous cleaning power
This is a powerful machine and does a fabulous job on dirty doggy paw prints although I'm embarrassed at the colour of the dirty water! Really pleased to also be able to clean chairs and sofa as well as my hardwood floors. It's true that it's difficult to steer and a bit heavy (especially when the tank is full). When the handle reclines it doesn't just go straight back like most machines but is somehow on a rotatable ball joint. I can't see how this adds value. On the other hand it did make light work of going around the circular living room table so maybe something useful is in the mix. I would buy it again notwithstanding - there are very few machines that do all of your floor types and upholstery and have such a powerful suction. I think it's good.

Packed up within weeks
The machine stopped working and leaked a lot of water all over my floors. It would not suction the fluid back up. This happened within weeks. Amazon refunded promptly so bought a different brand.

Well worth it
I was skeptical at first but I must admit it works quite well. I easily cleaned my rug getting out all the stains. I can now do this whenever! I’ve been disappointed hiring a carpet cleaner before. My rug and carpets were left stinking. That prompted me buying this machine so I can DIY. Well worth it.

Very effective cleaning
I only got it today so cannot comment on reliability, and this is a cleaner to replace one from another manufacturer that started to smoke after only a few uses. But in comparison the rug doctor feels better engineered, using stiffer and stronger materials making it feel more robust. The results are quite a contrast as well with a significant improvement to the rug that I tested it on. The rug had got so dirty from 2 dogs that I contemplated just replacing it but really don’t feel I need to now. For pet owners it might be useful to know that it seems to cope with fur much better than others, effectively ‘spitting’ it out rather than trapping it in a roller/ brush ( yes I did dry vacuum before but pet fur can embed itself).

Good cleaner
I love it' it cleans deeply' takes alot of dirt out. My carpet is softer now' it has a upholstery cleaning attachment which I used for staircases' did a good job. It's heavy to move up and down so I transfer the buckets seperate to make it a bit lighter. Thanks to Dr rug flex all in one
