I just keep coming back to Sunwarrior Classic Unflavored. It seems like every other vegan protein on the market uses awful additives/fillers or excessive sweeteners and flavorings. But this brand is simple, digestible, and perfect in a smoothie. The unflavored version tastes quite awful on its own (it's bitter), but blends up beautifully in a smoothie. Here's how I make mine: - 1 scoop unflavored sunwarrior classic - 2 organic medjool dates - 1 banana (optional) - handful of soaked walnuts - a scoop of cooked oatmeal (for easiest digestion!) - lots of cinnamon - chlorine-free water! This smoothie is SO satisfying and I can really FEEL how much energy I get from this stuff. Plus it doesn't upset my very sensitive digestion! I'm not even vegan (anymore), but this powder remains my favorite source of protein. I am already looking forward to tomorrow's smoothie. :-) Sunwarrior, please don't ever stop making this protein! It's the best on the market!

Excellent product from a wonderful company. I was concerned about the source of brown rice protein after reading about toxicity from arsenic, sewage and heavy metals. I contacted Sunwarrior directly and they reassured me with specific details of how thoroughly they have their products tested before and after it is processed. That is in addition to the mandatory testing done when a food product enters the US. This product is not for those seeking flavor, however. I use it because it is free of artificial or added sweeteners and digests easily. It has a slightly metallic taste, but I really don't care because it has seriously improved my life. That sounds superfluous, but it is true. This added protein in my mornings helps me balance blood sugar, feel energetic and I have lost weight too. I mix this with frozen or fresh fruit and water in a blender. If I drink it alone with water or milk, I add cinnamon and cloves or apple pie spice blends.

This stuff is awesome if you are looking for a healthy source of protein. Mixes well, not perfect but no problem for me. Tastes natural with a slightly grainy, earthy flavor, which I like. *If you are looking for something that tastes really good eat a candy bar. No stomach issues whatsoever, where other vegan options have caused problems, plus no added sweeteners. I don’t believe you can find a better vegan protein powder than this stuff.

We have been looking for a gluten and dairy free protein powder that doesn’t have too high of a carb to protein ratio. And that doesn’t hurt my stomach. I have a lot of digestive issues, so finding the right protein powder can be challenging. So far, 2 weeks in, this one seems to be fine. The sprouted and fermented I was told makes it easier to digest. The taste isn’t great / we got the unflavored. I add either blueberries or strawberries and banana to it, it’s not sweet at all. Not tasty, but I just chug it down as I know it’s good for me. There’s another brand (Plantopia) that tastes much better but it has way more carbs to protein, so I opt for this one,

Great protein powder. It tastes plain which is what I wanted. A lot of powders have a weird vanilla flavor or taste like stevia. No stevia in this one. Other reviews mention chalkiness but I don’t get that. The only thing it does do is get very thick if you overmix it. I use unsweetened soy milk, frozen fruit, frozen dates, and Blue Majik. I Vitamix all that first and then add the scoop of powder just until it’s mixed in. I don’t get as hungry as fast with this powder as others. It’s a win.

Like that it’s vegan but taste is not great. Almost chalky like. It’s hard to find a good protein powder my gut can tolerate. This one I can. Just have to add flavoring to my shakes to overcome the chalkiness.

I love Sunwarrior products but NOT this one and will NEVER order from a third party again! I have used Sunwarrior products for years, but this is the first time I've ordered the Sunwarrior Classic Plus product. It is TERRIBLE! No matter what I have done to make it taste better, it is disgusting! Then on top of everything, I found weevils in it!!!! Although it tastes horrible, I had decided that since I spent the money and it was beyond the available return date, I should go ahead and drink it. That was until the other day, when I made up my shake and took a big gulp of it, I noticed a weird texture. I spit out what was in my mouth and was horrified to see a small weevil! I then poured some of the powder in the container through a small strainer and sure enough weevils!!! I have kept this product in my pantry which is cool and dry and have no idea how they got in there! According to the container, the product was manufactured on September 3, 2019 and doesn't expire until September 2021.

Great choice of Protein powder. In this case, this protein powder is unflavored. My husband didn't wish to have a flavor, just natural. I on the other hand am using the chocolate fudge flavor in this brand and it is very good!! MA, Oh.

Taste better than the blue one though not to the level of tasty.

This is a healthy choice smoothy for people who are vegans. As well, if someone is diabetic as it does not have sugar in it. There is no sweetener added in this smoothie. The taste can be adjusted by the user’s choice of pieces of fresh fruit.

I love the product. However the seal on the top of the container was broken. My frustration is with Amazon and the inability to have contact with anyone for help. No simple way to return a damaged product.
