I love the Schwarzkopf hair dolor products, and have used them for some time now. However, when I used this particular one, something was wrong. Normally, when you mix the color creme into the developer, it turns a bright red, It did not this time. Instead, it remained the color of the developer. I noticed that there was no ammonia smell either, usually that is quite pronounced. The mixture did not turn red upon application either. After coloring, my hair is usually a very nice, almost rose gold color, because it was red before. Not this time. Now I am more blonde than rose gold. I have another one coming and will see what happens when I use that one. I don't have a before and after picture to show.

I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my money and time on this! I used the Light Brown to cover the Light Golden Brown that I had used previously. I applied to the gray area that had grown out first and waited before applying to the rest of my hair. I followed every step in the instructions. Not only was the color uneven but it turn my hair AUBURN not Light Brown.Other faults of the product were:1. Strong unpleasant scent which made it hard to breath. In fact, it is so strong that my husbandwith asthma had to leave and use his inhaler. And he was in the next room.2. I have fairly thin, shoulder length hair and yet it took every drop I could squeeze out of the bottle and comb through my hair to completely cover my hair.3. It is very difficult to rinse out. It doesn't lather up like most hair colors do. It actually got sticky when I added water to rinse it out. I had to add shampoo to wash it all out.4. It takes half of the tube of conditioner for one treatment. Other brands that I've used that have the same size tube, lasts long enough for up to six treatments.5. Even though I left the conditioner on for 15 minutes my hair still turned out dry with no shine.6. It's more expensive than the other hair color I've used that have performed better.The only reason I tried this was because of all the hype I've heard and seen.I'll go back to the hair color I've used for 30 years. The reason I haven't named the product I normally use is because I don't want anyone to think that this review is meant to promote that brand and smear this one.This is my honest opinion based on my experience.To sum it up...all I have to say isREAD THE REVIEWS!

I bought light brown to match the model's hair color and even up my hair and color the grays. But the result was much lighter.The color went on nicely and rinsed well. Instructions don't say to shampoo hair, so I didn't, but rinsed well and washed the next day. The conditioner was fine. I used a regular portion, about 1 tbsp.My hair came out much lighter than expected, and grays were not fully covered. The really odd thing ... is that it seemed to have lightened my hair, which I didn't think was possible.I'm waiting a few weeks to get a darker color, likely a different brand that covers gray.

It is a consistent color that goes on easy with no drip. Read the instructions and set a timer. It’s a color that leaves hair softer, the included keratin conditioner helps with this.

I like this hair color product. The color last about 2 months before a touch up is needed and looks fabulous when the sun is shining on your crown.

I’m three weeks into this hair color and it is still bleeding bright pink when I wash it every night. I’ve tried the Schwarzkopf Keratin color one other time in a red color and it was fine but this one is just not right. I’m going to stick to the Schwartzkopf Ultime for as long as I can get Mahogany Red.
