Modena Men’s Regular & Contemporary (Slim) Fit French Cuff Solid Dress Shirt – Colors (All Sizes)

I am a teacher and strongly believe that a shirt and tie convey a degree of professionalism that is important in a high school. Sorry, birkenstocks and open neck plaid shirts just don't cut it.I work hard and go though a lot of shirts, so I am always on the lookout for some quality shirts at a reasonable price. This shirt isn't a bad deal.It's well made and the fit is pretty much as expected. I like french cuffs and these are well-made (yeah, shirt makers can screw up french cuffs). The material is certainly consistent with a shirt at this - or even a slightly higher - price point. The stitching and cut are also consistent with a good shirt.After running it through the wash and dryer, it is not a shirt that you can get away without pressing....but I hanged it up pretty quickly and it is lying pretty well. I reckon that it will only require a light press.I wear a lot of Paul Fredrick shirts and am used to paying more. This is a pretty nice shirt at a very reasonable price.

I was having a hard time finding the right designer and size to fit my husband. You cannot find French Cuffs in our town. These shirts fit just perfect. I had to send a few back until I found exactly what he needed. But, when I did that I was really happy with how he looked in them. They wear nice, launder well and keep their shape. I have ordered several more in different colors. If you like French Cuff shirts, these are the ones to get. Collar is also the kind he likes. That has a lot to do with how the shirt looks with a tie.

As to the shirt - I love it. The fabric is just the right weight. The fit is perfect. I have other Modena shirts, and they are all good.Now, as to the seller - SuitBargains ... My original order arrived stained with oil. It happens. I washed it, but was unable to get the stain out. My dry cleaner was unable to get the stain out. When I contacted SuitBargains, they were wonderful. They immediately sent me out a replacement. They didn't even want me to send the damaged shirt back. They generously allowed me to donate the shirt to Goodwill. We exchanged a few e-mails while all this was happening, and it never took more than an hour for them to reply to me.I cannot speak highly enough about SuitBargains. They do customer service the way that ALL companies should.

I bought this shirt to wear with a tuxedo at my daughter's wedding. I plan to add the extra button holes for the studs. I was surprised that 50% of the buyers found the shirt to be on the large side. Mine was just the opposite. It was not sold as a slim fit, yet it fits like a slim fit shirt. I am thin, so that a slim fit actually fits me better than a full cut shirt. The material is on the thin side, and after washing it is not as wrinkle-free as some of my better shirts. The tails are shorter indicating a cheaper shirt. The collar has a nice crisp look. It should look fine when worn with a suit or tux. I may have the shirt laundered and starched to give it more body.

If you are a big man who always expect things to come a little small don't order this shirt. This shirt fits you in your size to the number. Ordered mine one size larger and that's just what I got. ORDER YOUR SIZE, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED......

This is an excellent shirt at a great value. Being a taller guy with a stocky build is extremely difficult finding the right size, especially with French cuffs. Case in point, I recently purchased the same shirt (18 38/39 sleeve) from Stacy Adams. I was swimming in it. I couldn’t even take my suit jacket off, because it was so I’ll-fitting. This shirt fits really well, they don’t assume that you’re a tall blob. I like it so much, I’m buying a white one now and ditching the one I got from Stacy Adams.
