It is a direct replacement for the same transducer that was damaged at a marina. It came properly packaged in Furuno packaging. This is the lowest priced Airmar tri-ducer for the Furuno line. The next one up is about 4x more and has higher power. This is a fine unit for coastal use.

This transducer installed easily with all hardware included for a clean install. Screws for the hull, cable clips, even a plastic piece to cover the wire port was included. This is a Tri-ducer, so it includes the speed and temp sensors, all seem to work well. I'd knock a star for the twist lock mechanism that goes on the display unit, its flimsy and mine no longer works.I'm using this on a Furuno GP1670F - and it functions fairly well. I've tested the fish and bottom finding capability up to about 80' of depth in saltwater and the accuracy matches the other sounders I have on the boat. I have noticed that it sometimes loses depth in shallow water < 10ft. a takes a minute to re-acquire which could be an issue if relying on this to navigate a shallow channel.

As I understand they are designed to kick up not break off their bracket.I only use my boat offshore and did not hit anything.I wasted my money and the transducer is gone- just the wires running to the transom and the mount are left.I am very disappointed with this product. I thought AirMar/Furuno was a better product.

Needs a better mounting design. Signal cord leading to sonar is 30 feet long ..only need 15 feet to 20 feet.

Turned an older Furuno Fish Finder into anew one. Everything I could expect.
