Adapter works.
Works well. The cable is a Europe style plug with a UK style plug adapter and not with different cables as pictured. The adapter pins broke during delivery. Thankfully I already have some plug adapters.

Failed after 10 months
This is sold as a replacement for a Synology 8.3a power supply used in a large number of the manufacturers NASes. I did work correctly out of the box and continued to do so from 11/18 thru the first part of August 2019. Then it began to intermittently shut off. First time unexpectedly. Then after a week. Then after a couple hours. Then after a couple minutes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS POWER SUPPLY. I wound up purchasing a replacement DiskStation because I believed it was at fault. I am now running the original DS using an authentic Synology power supply with no problems whatsoever.
