Nice Sounding Tubes - arrived quickly.
Having been packaged to survive a sledge hammer assault, they arrived quickly and in great shape. Install, as with any tube, was straight forward. Match the key on the tube to the slot in the socket and plug it in. I'm not sure it's necessary but we make sure the tubes are clean before buttoning things up. Repair time, 10 minutes, including the time to remove and replace an access panel. Tung-Sol tubes, like all other manufactures' tubes, have a unique sound "flavor" that we like. Clean overhead is better than EL34s we replaced (the amp these went into has a switch that can be set for either tube type). Plenty of crunch to be found and enjoyed. We ended up biasing these a little cooler as recommended on some sites and like the results in the mid range. Overall, good tubes. Very good, tonally, out of the box. Great for tinkering guitar players who are into electronics, as the design responds well to changes in bias and input.

My Bugera combo went dead.. purchased and installed these.. in a minute, we were up and running!

Nice warm tone
I can say that these are much warmer in tone than the JJ tubes. They have a nice midrange growl for grunge/ heavy metal. Not a tube I would put in a fender amp unless youโre looking for a warmer sound.

Great sounding set of tubes
I was very disappointed when the Ruby 6V6s burnt out on my Egnator Tweaker 15 thinking I'd have to wait a week or two on a new set, but these were on Prime next-day and showed up at Noon the next day. Dropped them in, and the tone is great - booming, but clear and defined lows, tons of headroom. They don't break up as easily as 6V6s but I use a pedal for that.

Not bad for a Russian re-issue. NOS 6l6โs can be spendy
These 6l6โs are ok for a reissue. It may well be my prejudice but to me nothing sounds a โniceโ As RCA 6l6โs circa late 1950โs Early-mid 1960โs.

Nice! Put them in Fender Hot Rod Deville 410. They seem to like a cooler bias. Set at 62 in mine. Hotter and they get weired/ruff.
