Good item
Very good strong polytunnel with strong structure and good quality cover I was happy with it for the 5 days that I had it :/. You might need to secure the door zippers down and stop them from opening as they intend to open on their own and when the wind gets under it it does take off with 90+kg wood attached to it, unfortunately the ground anchors I bought wasn’t strong enough to keep it on the ground so it blew away. But never the less it was a good item

worth the money, great at the price
Absolutely great, fiddly to do up all the nuts and bolts but pleased with the finished greenhouse.

disappointing
I, like many other reviewers was initially happy with this tunnel. It is the first time I bought a round one as I found that the shed shape ones attracted the birds to sit on the point of the roof and their claws pierced holes through it. So a round roof would solve that problem, which it has. The problem I have now is that less than a year in I noticed the rain was getting in via holes where the poles had rubbed through. I sealed those with flash tape. However, the rain was still getting in. I then noticed, as others have, that the whole thing is degrading away and the little squares are all little holes, it is now wet through inside and smelling of damp. Everything inside is also damp and green. I need a whole new cover, which lets face it, does not mean the same will not keep happening. This is obviously a manufacturing fault that needs addressing. The only good thing I can say is that its still standing throughout all the storms we've had recently, its just not keeping the rain out. Question is, do I buy a replacement cover and hope it stays intact or buy a shed shape one and try to reinforce the roof to stop birds claws going through? These should last a lot longer than a year, as previous ones I have had have done.

Tunnel is actually pretty good imo.
I've bought this to enclose my boys swimming pool which is just under 2m in length and my idea was that this can help to warm the pool water up and keep it warmer for the summer as well as protecting the pool from debris not to mention insects etc getting in. Plus if it starts raining my boy can still use the pool. Yes it does help to warm the pool up quicker due to it's greenhouse effect and yes it also helps to keep it warm during the night. Putting it together does need 2 people in my opinion just to keep things a bit more sturdier as you attach each pole section but once built it actually feels quite sturdy. Yes it's lightweight steel which makes it easier to lift and put into place despite the number of pole sections needed to construct it. It's tubular steel which helps to make it lighter. The cover appears to be quite sturdy too with reinforced weave that goes through all the cover. The cover is attached with little velcro straps which in my opinion there could be more of and longer to improve the design. I feel that the cover needs more attaching straps. Other improvements could be a better set of door zips. The zips on this cover whilst being ok should be heavier duty. As for added stability I've zip tied the frame to the swimming pool as well as tucked most of the bottom of the cover under the pool legs. I think with some minor improvements this could be a better product although tbh I've enjoyed putting it together and then reinforcing certain areas. It's managed to stay put without any damage in some mild windy weather although the wet weather will make the roof bow in due to the weight of water unless you manage to get the cover really tight this will happen. The tunnel has zippable sides too as well as windows for ventilation so you've got plenty of options. I also like that you can get replacement covers should this get damaged or rips in it provided the frame remains intact that is. Priced at just under £70 at time of review is reasonable and is a great way of enclosing a similar sized pool. For its intended purpose as a greenhouse and growing stuff then I can imagine it's just as good but for added stability I can only recommend you definitely make sure the bottom edges are tucked in or dug into the ground as well as securing the framework a little better like I did. I'd be worried if this was 'freestanding' and the possibility of wind getting under the bottom and lifting it so make sure you can secure it down somehow because it is lightweight. I'll revisit the review if I see any issues with this polytunnel when we get any strong winds but for now we're quite happy with it for what we use it for and to go over a swimming pool it does help to keep water warmer for longer. Just be wary of chlorine gas build up inside when not in use and you're using chlorine tablets or granules, let it vent out a little before getting inside. I'm happy with the tunnel and sure the manufacturer will make some minor modifications to make it that little bit stronger and secure in the future. Review update: June 2026 We've had this for roughly 2 years now being used as a dome tunnel over a swimming pool and here's what we've experienced with it. When it rains the cover develops pools of water on top which adds weight to the lightweight frame. I've had to slit the areas where the water pools to allow the rain to drain and consequently this water ends up on the pool cover inside the tunnel. The tunnel has survived some pretty strong winds every year but bear in mind that we secured the frame to the pool and tucked the cover at the bottom sides underneath the pool legs. However this year we have had a pole section break which I've managed to repair with metal glue and some aluminum wire. The cover has developed lots of holes and I can only assume that the cover does not fair well under daily sunshine making the plastic brittle and holes developing. I've used a very sticky cello tape to patch up all the holes but seem to find another hole on a daily basis now. The holes have developed everywhere, on top, on the sides more exposed to the sun, along the stitching and on the zipped door. Despite the pole breakage it still feels pretty secure after the repair and expect it to last into next year where I imagine I will be either chucking it into the recycling at the local tip, getting a replacement cover, replacing it all together or just not bothering to use one next year. The tunnel has done a good job though over the last 2 years of upping the pool water temperature and keeping the water warmer overnight combined with a pool cover (one of those black sided and reflective silver sided covers with the silver side pointing towards the water to reflect radiant heat back and the black side helping to absorb sunlight energy) I have noticed some rust spots setting in especially near the bolted sections so in hindsight I would have covered these with a blob of silicone paste to protect them had I been aware and blobs on every pole joint. So overall the tunnels given a decent lifespan but don't expect to get any more than a few years use out of these unless of course the manufacturer has made some recent upgrades to make them last longer. The covers in particular need to be more resistant to the sun so the plastic doesn't go brittle but still allows the inside to warm up and the poled frame could do with more diagonal cross sections to make it more stable.

Good polytunnel & very good service
1. Assembly & set up I've ordered the largest one of the ones offered. The set up is very easy. The simple 2 sheet instructions follow a similar pattern so you don't need an IKEA style science degree to put it up. It's recommended to have 2 people to put it up. I've done it alone and with someone and it makes sense as the initial set up needs a counterweight or support. It is possible to set up alone if you are savvy but an extra pair of hands really makes sure there is no strain put on the bolts & frame. 2. Sturdiness Now, initially, I've secured it with many heavy duty tent pegs. However, I found out it wasn't efficient on its own. They do recommend it to dig it down and I have. Too shallow initially, as due to its sheer size, it was unearthed on occasion. However, I dug it deeper down & secured it with boulders, tent pegs and zip ties for the cover at the base (see pictures attached). It is well secured, solid structured, the cover is pretty thick, the inner straps (although few in number I found them to be sufficient with all other things added since the frame and the stitching wrapped around nicely). 3. Value for money I feel its good quality. We have been happy and impressed with it so far. You could say it would be nice for some pegs to come with it but it depends on where you place it and how well you dig it down. In our allotment it was getting direct flow from the wind. If you don't have much experience, be safe rather than sorry. 4. Service Prompt and efficient delivery. Had an issue initially with the first polytunnel however I contacted amazon customer service & it was fixed instantly. Was very impressed. Happy customers overall!

Not very durable
Metal frame is not very stable - despite burying it in the ground I had to add extra reinforcements; zipper broke quite quickly - I ended up with wooden frame and door. Cover is thin and not very durable, in places where it is in contact with the frame, plastic between mesh completely crumbled and fell out - so the only thing that could be done was to replace the full cover or stick some patches. I would not buy it again, I would rather spend more and buy something more solid - this polytunnel did not last even 1 season, and after all, including cost of all repairs, it is already more expensive than a better one.

Not made very well
I bought this Polytunnel as I didn't have enough room in my greenhouse and needed to increase my growing space. I read a lot of reviews before hand and new what I needed to do in order to make the Polytunnel last e.g. dig it into the ground, use stakes to anchor the frame down and hotspot tape to prolong the cover. Although the frame seems sturdy enough with the extra precautions I've taken, the Polytunnel cover has not lasted even one season! As can be seen in the photos the stitching has come loose on the seams and is no longer fit for purpose - this must be a fault in the manufacturing or/ and design. I don't see a point of buying a new cover as this one has not lasted one growing season.

Moyen

Foil falls apart in second year littering garden with microplastics. Do not buy!
The structure is very lightweight, you have to fixate it very well or it will blow away very easily. We used a wooden frame for this and added extra arcs made of plastic electrical conduit. So far so good and the greenhouse functioned nicely the first summer. The next summer the horror part happened: I suddenly noticed a shimmer on the floor of my greenhouse. Turned out the clear plastic was coming apart, littering my greenhouse floor and the area around it with tiny 1x1 cm pieces of plastic. Apparently the plastic is not UV resistant at all. Of the greenhouse’s upper part only the green netting “reinforcement” was left. We had a horrible time removing the plastic cover because it was like it was raining clear plastic. The pieces are so small that it is almost impossible to remove them from the garden. I have a second tunnel like this on my allotment garden with the same problem. Still have to make upthe courage to take that one down. Definitely NOT recommended.

Precies wat we even nodig hadden
