I have used many different brands of curl creams as I have naturally curly hair. This curl cream works great. I use it on soaking wet hair to achieve the best results. It provides a consistent texture and volume to my curls. I air dry it most days and love how my hair looks when dry. The curls are defined and bouncy. I am not sure if the drying time is affected by the cream. It has a light fragrance that I like. I do add a light touch of gel when my hair is three quarters dry. It works great so my curls remain manageable. The thickness of the curl cream’s consistency is such that a little goes a long way. Because I use less with Twisted Sista the value is equal or better than lesser priced curl cream.

Some context: I have naturally 3A hair but you'd never know it given how much damage I've done. I'm ridiculously over-processed. My hair is chemically straightened, repeatedly colored/highlighted, frequently heat-styled, and I've been in the pool all summer. I can't believe I did this to myself. I also can't believe how much this curl activator has changed my life. Check out my before and after photos. I decided that I have to stop hurting my hair - but I no longer had the option of wearing it curly. It looked like wild strands of errant straw. I've been wearing it up- that was my only inexpensive option. BUT THEN! I received this product in a monthly beauty box and it shocked me - I could wear my hair down again. After the first use I immediately purchased the full size. This works better than anything else I've tried - and I've tried way too many products. Seriously, I've endlessly deep conditioned my hair, applied leave-in conditioners, and I keep argan oil on my lengths/ends. I don't KNOW what ingredient in here finally worked - but my hair sprang to life. For the first time in months, I can wear my hair down. It didn't restore my former curl pattern, but it revived my curls enough that I feel confident owning my air-dried hair. I seriously love this product - give it a try!

This is the best product for curly hair! It makes it look full but not frizzy. Wish I could find it local like I use to but glad Amazon carries it.

This is really good for my curly hair

I saw this little creature on tiktok using this product. She is white and I thought had similar curls to mine. She has a lot more hair than i do. Very dense. But turns out it's thicker than mine and so it didn't work as well for me. My hair is a bit too thin to hold this heavier product, I gave it to a friend who has thicker individual hairs and of course it made her hair spectacular. Mine is just too thin and weak to really support the product and get the best of its effects. If you have baby thin hair, it will just give you an 80s wet look. So I recommend this product for women with a veritable lion's mane of curls. I just wish it worked for my anemic curls like it did for my friend's super luxurious hair. ::sigh:: I do recommend that all ladies with curly hair should look into products made for POC though if they want a product made specifically with curls in mind.

Love love love these twisted sista products as a curly girl any product that can enhance your natural curl, not make it crunchy or hard and decrease frizz is a rare find. I recently moved to a different state and they have hard water, my curls have been very unhappy since! Then I found this product and my curls have been brought back to life! If you are a curly girl this curl activator is a must have! You will thank me! Also the 30 second curl spray, as a curly girl you can not wash your everyday or you will end up looking like your single handedly trying to revive the 70’s Afro so when you are on day 2 or three this curl spray works great to refresh your slept on curls! The attached pics are day one then day two hair. Ok so buy this and let the I’m having a fabulous hair day selfies begin!

I don't know why this isn't stocked in boots, Tesco or superdrug anymore, but I'm so pleased I can still get it on Amazon. Can't go without this, or my natural curly hair would just frizz! Always use on wet hair or it goes crispy

This brand works well on my dry coloured curly hair. It's a brilliant price point and easy to use. I tend to use this on holiday. Good packaging and smells okay to.
