Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, Classic Ivory, 0.64 oz.

I've been using this brand and foundation for years, but as we ladies age, know that MATTE has the tendency to increase the appearance of eye lines. I quit using it for that reason and only use a concealer now. But I really still love the simplicity and coverage for everyday use. The color match is perfect. Longevity is all day. Great value for money!

I love this foundation. It has amazing coverage and doesn't make me break out nearly as much as my liquid foundation (L'oreal TruMatch). It blends beautifully, especially with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and with the sponge that comes with the L'oreal True Match Super-Blendable Powder. A friend of mine who is a licensed cosmetologist was excited to see that I had this when she came over to do my makeup. It leaves a beautiful airbrushed look without looking cakey. However, on dry skin (like mine) it can sometimes look chalky. My T-Zone can get pretty dry so this makeup can look a little splotchy if I don't moisturize. If your skin is dry, I recommend a sponge instead of a brush to apply this. With the right amount of pressure, this makeup comes on flawlessly. I'm pale, so the first time I bought this I chose Porcelain Ivory. They say you're supposed to get makeup about a shade lighter, and since this was the lightest, I decided it would be best. However, I found that I much prefer Classic Ivory. It adds a nice warm tone to my skin and gives me a brighter more youthful appearance. I feel like I've found the perfect foundation. I also recommend using the powder that I mentioned previously after applying this.

I love this product! It's light, almost weightless, and yet still gives good coverage. It blends very well and is not cakey. It's neither drying nor moisturizing, which is just what I wanted. It looks natural. My skin is sensitive and it does not bother me. Best of all, the price is very reasonable and I prefer it to more expensive brands.

I have used this product for several years now and like it because it is heavier than most other foundations. It covers age spots and all imperfections. The color is a perfect match for me. It feels nice on the skin and does not need any powder afterwards. The only disadvantage is that when applying it, if you put too much on your face, the extra rolls up into little balls and falls off on your clothing. That part is kind of weird. As a nurse, I work 13-hour shifts. It does not last till work is over, but by that time, I'm too tired to care. If someone did care about that, it could easily be reapplied.

I have been using Dream Matte Mouse, classic ivory, for years and years. It has taken me from oily to combination to mostly dry skin and it still goes on beautifully. I apply over a light moisturizer, TAP the mousse with a fingertip and spread it LIGHTLY on my skin. It gives great coverage even with a light application and if I have a problem area, I just tap a little more there. I have NEVER had it accumulate in my fine and not so fine lines, and for yucks, tried to get that to happen. (Even my 97 year old mother used this, (definitely not fine lines) without caking and accumulation). To get enough accumulation to accentuate my lines I had to apply enough to make it look like stage make up, not anywhere near what someone should be wearing to go out in public. Love this. Please never stop making it.

20 stars! This is amazing If you were to look at it when you open it u would think it gross and nasty but it goes on smooth and flawless. So much coverage without being heavy. I used to wear this many years ago and couldn't find it. So glad it's back ! Love !

For an inexpensive drugstore product, this was my go-to throughout my high school years. Unfortunately I am the palest person I know so even the lightest shade of this product looked orange on me. So I would not recommend this for lighter skin tones. If applied evenly, It looks very natural, but if it's not applied properly it tends to look patchy and cake-y. I did like the light mousse texture though. It was very lightweight and I typically forgot I had makeup on until I looked in the mirror and saw patchy orange splotches.

I love the coverage of this foundation!! It goes on well, blends really well with other shades, and looks fairly close to my awkward skin color/tone. It doesn't make me breakout, and feels very lightweight. I wish that I did last through the whole day. By lunchtime, you need to touch up. It rubs off very easily, as well - you will want to set it with something. It has a very slight reddish orangish tint, which I have come to accept comes with any foundationa and is just how it is when you have the complexion of White Out.

I have been using this mousse since 2010. This is the best mousse for sensitive, oily and sweaty skin. I've highly sensitive skin & sweat a lot and all liquid creams leave white patches on my face. I tried every foundation and cream available in the market with dismal results. I could never find any suitable cream or foundation for my oily skin. I was on cloud nine when I found this product. Everyone with oily, sweaty skin or living in humid weather conditions must give it a try. Absolutely fabulous product.
